I have exactly this problem with one of my two Pope Aquazone Duo as Andrew. Indicates the water is flowing even if turned to manual. Nothing comes out? Could it be a solenoid? This does seem a disaster of a product in terms of reliability

Same problem as others:
Having trouble changing batteries. Tried 2 sets of different batteries, but the LCD is still showing 'low'. What could be problem? Had the aquazone for 10 months. Installing batteries the right way.

Is there another internal battery? Am I supposed to disassemble the product?

Not that I am aware of. Corrosion on the terminals? You aren't trying to use rechargeable batteries are you?

Try taking the batteries out, then replacing them and reprogramming.

Dear Popes Dorothy Dix,
I bought an Aquazone Duo and the batteries only lasted a few days before running flat. I then bought another unit and now the batteries too are only lasting for about 3 days... Is there something I am doing wrong? or is a manufacturing fault?
Cheers Nifty Nev

I have the pope timer and it works once after programming then it displays that its watering but no water is coming out. I have tried to put it on manual and the same thing happens- while the display shows that its working and counting down, the watering is not happening. I have swapped it for a new one and that is doing the same thing. Regards Andrew

Yes, you can program A and B channels independently. Fiddly untill you get the hang of it but great once you do.

All I can suggest is take batteries out and start again and see if that sorts it. Make sure power is gone from the unit before putting batteries back in.

Water has leaked inside our aqua zone duo timer. We can see water about 1/4 way up in the digital display window. That is a lot of water! No problems for a year and suddenly it’s filled up with water. No matter which way we tip the timer, the water does not come out.
Not a cheap product and we don’t want to/should not have to replace it.
Naturally the digital display is all over the place. We have removed the batteries but with so much water inside it will take too long to dry it out.
We would very much appreciate any help. Many thanks.
P.S. we have just replaced batteries and the digital display is now DEAD!!! We are trying very hard not to be totally FED UP - as pensioners we cannot afford a new one - come on, Pope, tell us we can fix this!! Please!!

Very disappointed in this product. It worked well for about 2 years, until it was time to change the batteries. This was indicated on the panel display. (To replace the batteries). Post battery replacement, the unit went 'haywire'. When the unit reached the scheduled time to activate the water supply, the entire display illuminated for about 5 minutes. The unit then 'selected' its own time, which was usually 2 am. When it reached that time, the unit went 'haywire' again. The entire process repeated again and again, resulting in the unit not completing any cycle. My bonsai collection requires scheduled daily watering and this product DID NOT deliver its purpose. I will be purchasing an alternative brand.

Hi with my unit Zone B is not working, it shows on the display that it is meant to be watering (shows tap with water drops) but no water is coming out, its like the solenoid isn't working, and yes the tap is turned on, I have it set so that it waters Zone A and and then 5 minutes after Zone A turns off Zone B turns on Any ideas?
