Took delivery yesterday. Mower started fine. Saturday morning, started mower, went to cut the lawn. 5 mins in, turned it off to answer phone. Went to start it, turned over, no start. Looked where I cut (lowest height) didn’t even look like it cut. Rang dealer twice, still no response. Spindles seem too short. Blade’s nowhere near the lawn.
Purchased in at Hear For Less for $3,900.

Don’t waste waste your money Dealers fought for us to get repaired had only done 8.5 hrs Blades only last one cut. Have to go over cut area twice. Doesn’t cut low enough oh the list goes on. Won’t restart if we turn it off have to wait an hour. Battery goes flat if not used monthly. Has to stay on the charger.
Purchased in for $2,700.

Does ok on open flat lawn, totally useless in tight spaces as well as on undulations and rises.
Lately it has been breaking down every second use and is almost impossible to repair myself. It stalls mowing back over lawn cuttings. Absolute rubbish product.
Biggest buggbear is the lack of maneuverability and inability to just reverse without having to disengage the blades.
Already ordered a replacement (from a different dealer) and will be selling this ASAP, making sure the purchaser knows not to use it on anything other than smooth, flat, unobstructed lawns.
Purchased in for $2,500.

Questions & Answers
Brand new, Purchased in Jan 2022, no problems at all except doesn't cut anywhere near low enough, I have read other reviews, how can Rover sell mowers that don't cut low enough?
Regards
Robert
Does this mower have a big trampoline type spring in it somewhere? I found one broken hanging off it but I’m not sure if it is from this crap mower or from an old trampoline.
How often do the belts need replacing
I don't know but we wish we had never bought it. Three times its happened to ours and it's hardly had any use.
