Ryobi 125mm angle grinder EAG1518GSP

published

Is a reasonable 125mm for the money and with 4 years warranty, I find the this Ryobi 125mm grinder is not as good as my Makita 5" which can be easily used one handed where needed. Also the guard clamp protrudes to far out not allowing to use full disc.

Brilliant Machine

Just have to say I have flooged the backside of mine for years and its still going strong. I have used it for polshing cutting and grinding often for long periods on heavy work. I've always thought that it would not last that long as it was a budget grinder. Great machine

Hot and smokey.

My ryobi polisher has died after 3hrs use. Bought brand new and only used to buff and polish. It's unit created some weird noises from the outset. Motor and gearbox created so much heat that the unit could not be handled. Trigger switch was faulty and would take a bit of a jiggle to get it to contact. After 3hrs the unit packed it in and would not spin. Metal grinding noises coming from the gearbox and smoke from the unit.

Dead. Would not recommend.

Poor quality and can not be used for intended purpose.
