Great Buy
I have two of these already for my 4 year old and once my 18 month old is ready I will be putting him in them as well.My four year old sleeps well while travelling in my husbands Ford Ranger where seats are more upright, as well as my Camry were seats are more laid back.
Easy to use, safety rating is great. Inexpensive when you consider the cost of your child's life in an accident.

daughter loves it
My daughter loves this seat. mostly because it is red and she's in a 'big girl seat'.
The cup holders on the side could be deeper but she uses them to hide items.
She's also able to put on her own seat belt now which is great for her and me ;)
Daughter = 4 yrs 10 months old
simple and easy to use
basic seat

Fantastic seat love it
Our daughter has been using Hi-Liner SG seat since she was 3.5yrs old as she was too tall for her other seat. We have made very long trips including up the Birdsville track in which she was in her seat for around 10hrs, only getting out to stretch her legs or get a drink ect. We have found she sleeps very well in this seat we love it because it is compact compared to some. On these trips she has not complained of sore neck or any problems. She loves her seat. I would recommend this to my friends. I also think its fantastic that if in a acciden...Read more
t that our seats are replaced free of charge. Our daughter is 5.5yrs old now and we are about to remove the harness as it now annoys her so she is graduating to the seat belt. I love better than any seat that we have owned before.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Easy to use!
With growing children I needed something that would fit into my medium size car. I can fit 2 of these and a maxi rider in the back seat of my Holden Cruize. They are easy to use and transfer which is also what we needed as we change the seats over for weekend drives.

Don't know why I bothered.
I purchased this booster for my 7 yr old as he had goten to big for his maxi rider & I wasnt keen on using our 'spare' SnS pegasus as an everyday booster & was not content with him coming out of a booster all together even though our law states he can.
After 4 months of use, I have taken it out of the car, washed the cover & its now ready to be sold to a new home!
My child often complains that it is uncomfortable. I dont think it looks to comfy either. He does not like the head rest, in the way that the sides 'wrap around' his ears/face...Read more
. On long trips he used to fall alseep in the maxi rider no problems. He is yet to fall asleep in this booster. We have a SnS Guardian carseat in the middle position & then the hi-liner next to it on the passanger side. It is a not good fit. The right hand drink holder is impossible to use because of the baby seat & when the door is shut the left hand drink holder becomes restricted in use. My main issue is the seatbelt. OMG. The seatbelt constantly twists as you pull it out, through the sash guide ready to click in. Clicking it in is some days IMPOSSIBLE. Mr 7 often remarks "Lets see if the seatbelt likes us today Mum!" Lucky we have a seatbelt guard on the babyseat so that we do not accidently unlick it while trying to click the 7 yr old in.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
First booster seating using seat belt
This is our daughters first time using a booster seat with a normal seat belt, we are not using the harness. She is 4.5 and loves it. We've only used it for a week now (two trips of just over an hour each and a few around town). Our car seats are slightly reclined (about 80-85deg, certainly not upright at a 90deg angle). She had no troubles sleeping in the seat and her head didn't fall forward, more to the side against the headrest. We will wait for her to outgrow her seat in our second car, but will definitely consider buying a second one of these.
Easy to fit. Shoulder slot is easy to use, so too is the slide guard.

Fabulous booster, ticks all the boxes
We bought this for my daughter who had outgrown her SnS Maxi-Rider seat (too tall) but still needed a booster seat because she was only 4.5 years old. After looking around we decided on the Hi-Liner and have been very happy with it. Our daughter loves it and we find it very practical and functional. Very good if you have tall kids. We just use the regular seat belt with it. The anti-slide clip thing helps with that.
Easy to install and swap between cars, adjustable head protector, top tether strap, anti-sliding clip for lower belt, gets th...Read more

When you need 3 carseats in a row
When I knew we would have a baby, a toddler and a preschooler in carseats I had to start looking for a new car and new carseats. I did a great deal of research at dealerships and baby stores and on NRMA's useful webpages, and ultimately arrived at a solution for us.
For the preschooler seat I initially went out and bought a *different* booster to this, because it was equal-ranked at the top of the booster seat list in the CREP safety tests (4 stars) and according to NRMA it was the narrowest booster at a width of 320mm. But when I measured t...Read more
hat booster (the Vario Kid) it was 420mm wide across the armrests (and 440mm across the shoulders). Still that was the narrowest so I brought it home. But then I found the armrests actually went too far forward and interfered with the adjacent carseat. That's when I went and tried out a SnS HiLiner. It's 450mm wide, but it has very compact armrests, which don't bump up against the adjacent seat for us. It's also equal-ranked at the top of the booster seat list in the CREP safety tests (4 stars). It's easy to put in and out of the car. We have the version with the anti-submarining clip and that's a good safety addition. Just a simple clip up over the lap belt. And it's a very tidy, easy to operate seat. It's stayed looking like new for 2 years now. It's worked well for a tall 4-year-old and a tall 6-year-old. And it fits in the car! It fits easily in the backseat of a Hyundai Santa Fe (along with a new-version SnS Meridian AHR, forward facing in the middle, and a Hipod Senator with 5-point harness at the other door) - we don't graze our hands when we do up the seat belt. I would definitely recommend going and trying out carseat combinations at shops and showrooms if you need 3 in a row, because it's really a bit of a 'jigsaw' exercise rather than just finding out which is the narrowest. Also some of the measurements on the web and in manuals are not quite accurate or not the relevant width.1 comment

I love this booster seat!
After our hipod senator broke twice I had to find a new seat for my 4 year old son. I did a lot of research and found this booster seat. It was by far the best seat I found. I love the slide guard and the shoulder slot and makes it a super safe seat for my son. The headrest goes up so high even my 145cm 10year old daughter fits it! It is also heaps more comfortable than our previous seat and my son doesn't have any trouble if he falls asleep in it either.
not too wide, excellent safety features, reasonably priced, comfortable

Easy to use/safest booster seat
Vic roads listed this booster seat as the safest so we purchased on that knowledge. It is an excellent seat and our son marvels and using the two cup holders for his drink. Because of the way the harness is designed (harness sold seperately) it uses the seat belt to buckle up so the kids can't undo their own belts like they can with the ones that do up in the middle.
Vicroads have a free fitting service every now and then which I would recommend, fitting the harness would take a lot longer to do yourself. Once in though the seatbelt is easily adjusted.
Its one of the safest booster seats on the market so I can rely on it to keep my little man safe. Its worth the money to know they are safe.

oblem is my daughter is really too tall for those seats now. Would appreciate hearing any feedback regarding the Protecta Harness thanksWe don't use the protecta harness, just the seatbelt with the inbuilt anti-sliding thing between the legs. My daughter is very tall and this seat has been a great upgrade (did have the maxi rider previously)

Perfect for tall children
I purchased the Hi-Liner for my tall 5 year old. He had outgrown his 5 point harness and I wanted something that was going to last him a while. 2 years later and he has only moved up in height one click and has so much more room to grow. It was easy to install and is very easy to use. He can do it on his own now. I love the head rest on it. He still falls asleep on long car rides and his head doesn't flop around.
Easy to use and great for tall children. Easy to install and adjust. Easy to clean. High quality.

Perfect booster seat
We have tall children that have outgrown even the maxi rider. So when I found this one was available I jumped at the chance to purchase it. My son is 5 and a half and can still fit, yet he towers over everyone in his class at school. He still has plenty of room left to grow and it is the safest booster according to CREP.
Safe!!!

We bought this seat as our 3rd seat as we had a second child on the way. Our son was 15kg (2 years), and so we were not sure whether to buy another Maxi Rider AHR or this. We chose this due to it's lightness and ability to expand to suit him for many years to come.
We fitted this with a Protector harness. It fits quite easily if you follow the instructions to get the harness the right length. The slideguard clip does a great job in keeping the harness centered and low on our toddler. The seat itself if very light, and easy to move from ...Read more
car to car. The arm rests are large enough to be useful, but do not prevent our toddler from easily climbing in. The seat is much narrower than the Maxi Rider, so will be ok when we are trying to fit 3 seats in the back of the car. It's easily adjustable for height. Simple to install. Bottom hinge adapts to car seat angle. Security when used with harness & slideguard clip. Light. Compact - low height makes it easy for child to climb in.Similar opinion? A great seat, very happy with it. Love the height and the anti submarining clip. The kids are comfortable and I'm delighted they have a tall booster instead of having to go from their old car seat to no child's seat.
I love the adjustable height. It really grows with the child and allows me to keep her in a car booster seat longer than I was able to with the maxi rider (which she grew too tall for).
The wings on the head and the seat are very comfy (so my girl says) and she has dozed off a few times...and she's nine!
A huge feature for me is...Read more

We have a 2010 Mitsubishi CJ Lancer Sedan and are expexting our 3rd child in 3 weeks and as we only got our car new a year ago did not want to trade up so we search far and wide to find 3 safe and narrow car seats to fit our newborn baby and 2 preschoolers! and we could fit 2 of these safe n sound Hi-liners and the safe and sound polo capsule in just right, tight but they fit and are the safest for our children and our children love these hi-liner booster seats easy for them to get in and out of and they still nap in them so must be comfy! and ...Read more

Perfect... best seat we own!
I love our Hiliner! I had tried 2 different boosters for my daughter & wasn't happy with either of them. She fits perfectly in the Hiliner though & the seatbelt sits correctly every time.
The harness slots mean that you can use a H-harness & it will stay nicely on your child';s shoulders. Plus the Slideguard clip keeps the seatbelt down around your child's waist, so it doesn't ride up. If you decide to just use an adult belt, the seatbelt clip keeps the belt in the right position, away from your childs neck. Its virtually foolproof to install...Read more

i was in the market for a booster after doing my research i was going to buy a infa vario max which is rated number 1 booster by the c.r.e.p report, but after talking to a staff member at baby kingdom and getting his opinion i went with the hi liner for a couple of reasons although infa is rated no 1, this is in a clinical lab where everything is place perfect my child isnt perfect and can slump, slideguard prevents this from happening and prevents the seat belt from raising into the soft tissue areas of my child, i use it with the protecta ...Read more
harness which the hi liner is made for with the harness holes which also makes the harness sit better on the shoulders. overall i was looking for the safest child booster seat on the market, i believe in the real world i ened up getting it. great colours, slim line, light, easy to install, slideguard, only product on market that prevents slumping and sliding, also tallest booster on the market, after talking to staff at baby kingdom, slideguard changed my mind, seat is also well padded only rated to 26 kg. overseas model looks very similar but rated to 40kgSimilar opinion? I love these seats, I'm extremely happy with them. As they are slim and not overly bulky, the children can easily do more for themselves (getting in and out, seat belts etc).
I'm a researcher and i bought 2 of these seats for my children, along with protecta harnesses for two main reasons. I felt the harness was a must, and the hi liner design meant the harness sat perfectly on both children. The other key feature was the slide guard clip, I felt it was imperative that they couldn't slip underneath their harness in an accident. The seats are qu...Read more

we purchased 2 of these for our older childern aged 7(18kg) and 9years (23kg) and have found them great they fit with ease in the rear of our commodore with either a maxi rider ahr or meridian ahr installed as well.
The seat is easy to install light and narrow, the anti sub clip provides extra reasurrance and the adjustable headrest makes it the tallest tethered booster available in australia, rated to 32kg means they can stay in a booster longer. The covers are much better then the older hi liner model and they stay in place.
havent found anything to dislike on this model of hi line and we now have 2!
