Good for the price
This is the Samsung Series 5 UA32ES5500MXXY 32 inch.
I bought this replace a Series 4 Samsung which I was disappointed with. I wanted a smallish TV (both because of the space it needs to fit into, and because it's a small room - the viewing distance from the TV is 2 - 2 1/2 metres) that would connect through my PVR with no trouble, that I could connect the old Playstation to, and which had good picture quality. I wasn't looking for an enormous plasma or a home theatre system, just a picture that looks crisp, clear and with no blurring or ...Read more
fuzziness, for everyday viewing. In summary, it's easy to set up, easy to tune, good remote, Electronic Manual that's easy to access and easy to understand in simple language. The picture quality isn't excellent, but fairly good - I returned the Series 4 because the picture quality was messy and blurred with any fast motion on screen, and while this is better, I still have to say that in terms of crispness and clarity, my old CRT was much better. The salesman at Harvey Norman explained this as, "It's an entry level TV," which I gather means if you're not willing to spend over $1000 on a TV, don't expect excellent picture quality! I'm not impressed by this - with today's technology, things should get better, not worse. But 99% of the time the picture doesn't bother me (or after a year, I've just gotten used to it!) I like that even when I turn it off "properly" by using the button on the TV, I can still turn it on again using the remote. It connected to my PVR/DVD player no problems, and I can switch between using the twin tuners on my PVR and using the tuner in the TV easily (ie, if I'm recording from two channels using the PVR, I can watch a 3rd channel by switching to the tuner in the TV).1 comment

Hey Mahesh, this is a Smart TV with some features and apps. But as this device was originally released in 2012, some app developers may no longer support older models.
