Samsung Series 7 issues hopefully resolved
Smart TV component somewhat disappointing as most popular you tube videos cannot be played "video not available", input function could also be better. Incompatible with three different flash drives and home data network Many of the apps poor quality, incorrect english. Some online channels often cuts out turns tv off
Excellent picture, design
price too high given short comings in smart TV, incompatible with owned flash drives and storage

C8000 is way better than C9000
I had the 46 version, exchanged it to 55 and then sold it, for the C9000. I had no problem with the C8000. I just couldn't pass up with the C9000 when it came out due to Aesthetic purposes and both models are still available in the U.S. as we speak..C8000 has the best picture overall among Samsung LED lines including the new 2012 and possible 2013. That's the honest i can be about the C8000.
Picture quality.
if i weren't for C9000, C8000 would still be in my room hanging today.

Looked ok in store
Once home in natural lighting it looked worse than my six year old Panasonic, smart features do not make up for an inferior picture and I am now noticing vertical banding and uniformity issues which bug me to death
This one was made for the show room and it really shows
Nice stand?
Substandard picture quality

Ok, not as good as expected
As a standard TV the Samsung LED is great, however the functionality of time-shift is clumsy. Most frustrating is how easy it is to knock an incorrect button (i.e. chanel change instead of volume, or any other button directly adjacent to the rwd/ffd/pause buttons) even if half way through watching back without warning it looses everything without any warning or ability to go back! As we use Time-Shift 80% of the time this is a major hassle.
Good image, Light weight
No warning when bump button and loose time-shift

Nice TV but...
I have the 55" model. Overall the TV picture quality is great. Also the looks are great. Had to buy this model as I wanted the biggest TV that my cut-out space could take - and this tv was it. Easy set up, internet same and all works very well. While the quality is great the performance is a little disappointing. I watch a lot of sport and after the first week I can say the tvs engine does not handle fast moving objects very welll. My previous Samsung 58" plasma was far superior and had no issue. The main problem is that every few minut...Read more
es (watching AFL for example) the frames will stutter as it tries to catch up with the action. It looks like it misses quite a few frames and jumps to where the action is... Not a smooth transition. Very disappointing from a tv that costs as much as this one. Look, picture quality Stutter effect while watching certain sportsSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good
I own the 46 inch TV. Overall I would say this is a great TV. It looks good. It is slim. The speaker thing although annoying should not be a deal breaker. With a TV like this it is worth putting in a sound system anyway.
We purchases ours in December for $3800. You should be able to get it for a lot less now that the 3D TVs are out. We got a free 26 inch LCD screen with ours. Samsung usually has pretty good deals like that. We talked ours down from $5000 by making stores price match each other.
Have a good looka at this TV, you will not...Read more
regret it. If you cannot find teh series 8, see what else Samsung have, We were very happy with ours It looks elegant. Very slim. The quality of the images on this TV is amazing. It is crisp, clear and vibrant colours. When you watch BLU RAYS, it really shows you what it is capable of doing. I really like the fact that you can attach a portable hard drive to it.It means you dont have to burn DVDs to watch something on your comp. That being said I still like to connect my laptop to it. I do this and then i use a wireless keyboard and mouse and play computer games. So it can double as a monitor if you want it to or you can just do it every now and then like I do. Play video games on this TV is a dream. It has the usual HDMI and other ports. So you can connect it to yoru comp like a monitor, or use it as a normal TV. You can also attach a USB to it if yu have movies on your USB stick. The TV also has built in arcade style games. Not the reason you would buy it, but is good for kids. The TV can also connect to the internet. The base is metalic and adds to the stylish look of the TV. I have seen other TVs with cheap looking bases, but this one is not like that and really rounds off the stylish look of the TV. The only downfall are the built in speakers. If you put the volume up there is a crackling sound. This is not a problem for normal shows, but if you want to watch an action movie or anything that would usually be a bit louder, then its annoying.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent
Enough, I heard enough stories about Plasmas are the best. I will give that they are best bang for the buck but not the best overall in design, energy saving and high quality bright images. This TV meets my requirements and looks fantastic that my only complaint is that the TV is only 1 year warranty compared to some unknown China brand. Samsung however should shape up on their reputation of their promotions as they are taking a bit too long to deliever the bonus gifts. The TV itself for me hands down wins the Neo Plasma of the Panasonic regard...Read more
less of people raving over it. What let the Panasonic down was the lack of quality in their finishing unlike what Samsung does was to deliver a solid slim and great TV. The inbuilt PVR was excellent, I felt another missing point was just having to share files on the PC directly using the provided LAN as there are some restrcitions. There was also no CD manual or software. And Samsung failed to let me know that there was supposed to be one pair of 3D glasses with this TV. I had to ring Samsung to get a confirmation and Harvey Norman still owes me one pair till date. Overall a excellent TV though. People who thumbs down this TV must have a loose screw in their head. Slick, beautifully designed, sexy for a non-japanese brand. Very high quality blacks, hardly and bleeding on the sides. Price cost more (new technology), contrast ratios still looses to a Plasma. Sound from such a flat TV have not very good quality but ok otherwise. Samsung promotion freebies are slowSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

It seems Samsung is the current market leader in innovative TV designs and she has done well with this latest product. It is very pricy currently but price will surely go down over the next few month. Metallic frame design is very innovative with nothing like on the market yet and it's incredibly thin. Picture quality is awesome and it works well as a multimedia machine with multiple connectity options with all of your multimedia gadgets including hooking up with Samsung Galaxy S phones to use it as a remote. It would be very difficult not to r...Read more
ecommend this product to high end buyers of LED TV as this product probably is as good as it gets in the current market. If you want the whole viewing experience, getting a compatible surround system would be the way to go as sound quality lags behind qualities in other aspects. Finally bought it after saving if for months. My old Samsung LCD needed a little upgrade. This is a truly beautiful TV to own. The alloy metallic look is absolutely breath-taking and it's very very thin and light weight. Picture quality is awesome and colours are absolutely dazzling. If you own a Samsung Galaxy S mobile phone range, you can control your TV using your phone too. Very little too none... Almost blinded by it's pros. Sound quality lacks volumes and suffers noticeably at a louder volume and if you are into action movies, getting a surround sound system would be a way to go. It is pricy but price will surely come down soon enough.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

True beauty, I was looking for a TV to save electricity this is perfect the UA55C8000 looks stunning in my living room, already had a 7.1 ch amplifier had to buy a 3D Bluray player & HDMI cable to get the perfect combination, 1 cable does it all no more wires and cables behind the TV. I recommend this LED LCD 3D TV very chic, can also n=be used as a monitor all it needs is a Samsung dongle to make it wireless, so you can watch all your saved moves directly on a huge screen, also has a PVR feature simply stick a USB 8gb & below in the USB slot a...Read more
nd record live TV to watch later if you are busy. Samsung Series 8 has Internet TV, Connect Share Movie and 4 HDMI inputs and can be wireless with the Allshare feature. Variety of applications cane be assessed skype, Youtube & Twitter. Real time turns 2D to 3D video conversions, one HDMI cable connected to the Amplifier or Bluray player does it all no more wires & cables required. Samsung could have included a couple more 3D glasses(only 1 in the box)also could have done better with the TV Speakers only 10x2 down firingSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Surprised by the picture quality & user friendly functions
The picture quality is ultra clear & colours natural.
I found the 3D picture quality was excellent & was superior to Sony's 3D, LG's 3D appears somewhat animated/unreal.
The Qwerty remote is user friendly as is the Smart Hub functions.
Wireless connection to my modem was easy & the applications are fun.
If you are looking for leading edge picture technology, impressive 3D picture take a look at the TV. Look around & bargain hard you can pick these up at a reasonable price.

Amazing, Friends all comment on it
Own the 55" model. Design is stunning, looks very stylish. Love the fact it can record to External hard drive for TV playback, connect wirelessly to internet, and use Vuse to stream movies from computer in study straight to tv. Picture as very crisp, even blacks are dark, which was the only negative comments I could find from LED backlit sets. The tru vision refresh rate was a little off putting for around 2 days as was so incredible from the standard I was used to. Have not looked negatively from my purchase, was worth the extra cash... friends comment on the design and quality (they all leave wanting to buy a new TV) =) Quality, design, energy efficient, technology (i.e wireless, smart hub, recording to external hard drive, QWERTY keyboard Only downside is the remote can ne a little touch if im not pointing directly at the set.. Other people Suggested the speaker quality, but seriously if the tv is THAT FLAT, it really cannot boast the best speakers. My advise... If you spent the money on the TV, splurge and get decent surroud sound. Makes for a 'IN THE MOVIE' experience.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Very good and reliable product
I bought this 3D TV UA55C8000 8 months back and it is really good. Very slick design, light weight and watching 3D is really nice. Lot of facilities such as internet, connect wireless etc...
After switch on it is taking sometime to load picture, Sound quality is not up to mark but i'm using my Bose system, Quality is not good when you watching the 3D content via side view.
