Nice TV but...
I have the 55" model. Overall the TV picture quality is great. Also the looks are great. Had to buy this model as I wanted the biggest TV that my cut-out space could take - and this tv was it. Easy set up, internet same and all works very well. While the quality is great the performance is a little disappointing. I watch a lot of sport and after the first week I can say the tvs engine does not handle fast moving objects very welll. My previous Samsung 58" plasma was far superior and had no issue. The main problem is that every few minut...Read more
es (watching AFL for example) the frames will stutter as it tries to catch up with the action. It looks like it misses quite a few frames and jumps to where the action is... Not a smooth transition. Very disappointing from a tv that costs as much as this one. Look, picture quality Stutter effect while watching certain sportsSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent
True beauty, I was looking for a TV to save electricity this is perfect the UA55C8000 looks stunning in my living room, already had a 7.1 ch amplifier had to buy a 3D Bluray player & HDMI cable to get the perfect combination, 1 cable does it all no more wires and cables behind the TV. I recommend this LED LCD 3D TV very chic, can also n=be used as a monitor all it needs is a Samsung dongle to make it wireless, so you can watch all your saved moves directly on a huge screen, also has a PVR feature simply stick a USB 8gb & below in the USB slot a...Read more
nd record live TV to watch later if you are busy. Samsung Series 8 has Internet TV, Connect Share Movie and 4 HDMI inputs and can be wireless with the Allshare feature. Variety of applications cane be assessed skype, Youtube & Twitter. Real time turns 2D to 3D video conversions, one HDMI cable connected to the Amplifier or Bluray player does it all no more wires & cables required. Samsung could have included a couple more 3D glasses(only 1 in the box)also could have done better with the TV Speakers only 10x2 down firingSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Amazing, Friends all comment on it
Own the 55" model. Design is stunning, looks very stylish. Love the fact it can record to External hard drive for TV playback, connect wirelessly to internet, and use Vuse to stream movies from computer in study straight to tv. Picture as very crisp, even blacks are dark, which was the only negative comments I could find from LED backlit sets. The tru vision refresh rate was a little off putting for around 2 days as was so incredible from the standard I was used to. Have not looked negatively from my purchase, was worth the extra cash... friends comment on the design and quality (they all leave wanting to buy a new TV) =) Quality, design, energy efficient, technology (i.e wireless, smart hub, recording to external hard drive, QWERTY keyboard Only downside is the remote can ne a little touch if im not pointing directly at the set.. Other people Suggested the speaker quality, but seriously if the tv is THAT FLAT, it really cannot boast the best speakers. My advise... If you spent the money on the TV, splurge and get decent surroud sound. Makes for a 'IN THE MOVIE' experience.

Very good and reliable product
I bought this 3D TV UA55C8000 8 months back and it is really good. Very slick design, light weight and watching 3D is really nice. Lot of facilities such as internet, connect wireless etc...
After switch on it is taking sometime to load picture, Sound quality is not up to mark but i'm using my Bose system, Quality is not good when you watching the 3D content via side view.

Yes it was a smart TV, but, many applications don't support it any more, like YouTube and Netflix. Still that's an easy fix by adding a smart box of some sort. You can serve to it via Ethernet or wireless (if you purchase an adaptor), it has an excellent display and some excellent image filters and scaling tech. There was a review here complaining about problems with fast action during sports, this is simply not the case, there are lots of options for sports viewing built in. The 3d is great with your into that sort of thing, however, it's one of the older standard and is difficult and expensive to find glasses to suit. The panel out classes many LCDs still to this day. Excellence is an understatement.
