I cannot get the seasol concentrate out of the bottle-it has a venturi type of spray but the concentrate will not come out despite the fact that I have altered the flow rate from low to high. It is such a simple affair yet it will not work.

Please can you help?

Are you talking about pre-mixed Seasol For Lawns in the 2 Lt Hose-on bottles?
If so, you are right about getting it out of the bottle. The yellow tube keeps clogging up. You have to stop and clear it by running fresh water through it. The other option is to dilute it so it is thinner and doesn't clog. It will still get the same amount on the lawn. It will just take you a bit longer. Another option is to use a Hortex Sprayer.

Can you overdose indoor plants (monstera, philodendron, pothos) on seasol? I misread the bottle and used too much on each plant, however I still diluted it and each plant got a pretty decent water, so a fair bit of it ran out of the drainage holes. As a once off is this likely to cause much damage to my plants?

Is seasol ok for succulents?

I have a whole stack of succulents (Mezoo trailing red/panda plant/jade plant etc) in a rock wall and I’ve used seasol on them frequently with no issues. They’re all thriving in the limited soil available. However I once used it on a large argave and it damaged it. That said, I think it was entirely my fault as I applied it too early on a summers afternoon when it was still too hot. Early morning/late afternoon applications when the plants aren’t in hot sun/heat stressed and they love it and react well in my experience. I’ve never used it on indoor succulents in a terrarium environment.

Sorry I would ask someone at your local garden centre. It is quite strong. They may recommend something else more suited if it is not able to be applied.

Yes, according to the label you can use it on ferns every 2-4 weeks.

As long as your pets don't ingest the large quantities of the concentrate straight from the bottle, it's perfectly fine - We have lots of animals (including pet rabbits) foraging around the plants we've treated and they are in perfect health.
