Decent pair of really comfy headphones

published

Pretty comfy and soft on your head, reasonable price tag. Use these to listen to podcasts, audiobooks and music when commuting or walking. They're decent at cancelling out light- moderate street and pedestrian noise. Can't fault the volume either. For some reason, one ear doesn't play sounds when used on my PC, but on my smartphone it's okay, so I think it's a PC issue. I think if they were a bit smaller, theyd fit my head better and cancel out noise better, but I have a slightly smaller than average head.

Purchased in June 2021.

Solid and sturdy

The Sennheiser HD 558 look a lot like the rest of Sennheiser's new-breed headphones, the HD 518 and HD 598. ... The leather and wood trimmings of the HD 598 are absent, but the two are comparable in terms of comfort. You can wear these headphones all day long without even the slightest hint of discomfort.

Great Price, Solid Performance

published

Picked these up for $70 and for the price I can't fault them. The over ear pads are comfy and the bass isn't overwhelming like some other headphones in this price range. It also has a Great 3m long cord, the only thing that may be an issue for others is the inability to fold up. Great for home use though. Recommended.

Great drivers built into a cheaper frame.

published

These headphones have superb bass and tonal clarity for the price, great for gaming and music but really shine when watching a Blu Ray. These are not high power headphones for low bass drops or loud FPS gaming but will stand up pretty well, just don't extend the bass levels to much.Unfortunately at this price range the plastic can be a bit cheap, mine developed a small crack near the head size adjuster and the wiring came a bit loose inside and the lest channel started cutting in and out but nothing i couldn't resolve myself.
Great tonal clarity, great for movies and music.
Plastic construction is a little cheap.

Your wiring is a bit loose, eh? I would never have guessed.

It's not your fault Steve the blame is on your parents, genetics are indiscriminate like that.
