Excellent service thankyou
Within a couple of hours I had 6 responses to my gardening request. The two that we interviewed were both great and did not have to meet any others. There was a third one that was a no show so after 45 minutes waiting and no word from him I messaged him not to come. Still no response however very happy with the two that did.

Prompt and efficient

Hiring a trade person
easy and fast got 7 interested contractor all gave their ideas and made it easy to pick one the reviews were a big help too. It was a lot easier than phoning around since once I posted I was the one receiving all the calls.

Traumatic
I hired [name removed]to undertake some work on my pergola. I live in another city to my property so hired him through serviceseekng.com.au.
I advised him what I needed and finalised the quote via text and email, stating what I wanted including paint colour. During the time he did the work, he advised me I needed new Battons which would cost $200. I said fine. I went to my property after he advised me he had finished the job. It was awful. ence. I called him and asked him what colour he used. He said the colour I advised him too. He said check the cans. It was the wrong colour. It was clear there was no new battons. I called him back and he then went on to abuse me, using the f word, said how he knew I would be trouble. He said it's just a rental so why does it matter and that he couldn't tell the difference in colour. I advised him I would call him back when he calmed down. A few days later he sent me texts saying it was all his fault and to not worry about it. Then a few days later he called and my mum answered. He apologized for his language, said he didn't get money in the will fill his mother. Later I called my property manager to see if he returned the keys. They called me and said he had abused them on the phone, and he was keeping the keys into he got his money. I called him and said it wasn't appropriate to swear at them. He said he didn't but would take the keys back. He said he had spoken to a lawyer about this. I said what did he want out of this and he agreed to take 400 less (after adding $200 for battons that he didn't put in). I paid him because I wanted him gone. I have never dealt with such an aggressive tradesperson in my life and I'm sure he isn't a painter. Horrifying experience.1 comment

Very handy site to have on standby.
I was looking for an electrician to install a ceiling fan. Received 8 quotes in record time so site works very well, all the hard work done did not have to go looking through pages and pages to find a licensed Tradesman with references. Have accepted one of the quotes and very happy.

Very good service
Service Seeking.com.au were very good I have 6 companies to choose from within 1 hour with 3 ringing with quotes. The one I accepted was a good price and they came out the next day the do the job. I would recommend the service as it makes life a lot easier finding trades.

I have information that a Fencing Contractor - CAM FENCING uses your service to advertise for Fencing work. This contractor holds my 50% deposit money $1,200.00 that I paid him, for quoted work, to erect my fence, which was supposed to start Dec 2022. To date this has not been done and he does not respond to emails, texts or phone calls. How do I make a formal complaint to your Service and submit a poor rating?

Scroll right to the bottom and there’s an email address where you can contact a representative to let them know what’s happened as they will also want to know if the contractor has not done the right thing by you. They might also be able to help with how to contact them.
Otherwise perhaps you can contact the consumer affairs. A bit of a pain and time consuming but it’s not fair that you’ve been ripped off

However, what is more important is your professionalism, ability to offer great solutions to customers at excellent prices. The key is to have a compelling Profile Page that shows that just because you are new to ServiceSeeking you are experienced and skilled at what you do. We do have a 'testimonial' section where you can place comments from customers who hired you outside of ServiceSeeking. Hi John - generally with low volume jobs there are increased costs as whether the job is 5m or 50m there still needs similar staff numbers (less time of course) - the truck still needs to drive to site etc. So with low volume jobs I can see how the sq metre pricing could be significantly different. We just look at an Australia wide average for average job sizes posted on our site.
