I have couch grass encroaching under my 900 mm high front hedge. I have tried to hand remove same but it still grows stronger than ever.
If i used Slasher direct onto the couch grass would it have any bad effect on my hedge ???

Hi Paul, good luck with that,I have sprayed perennial weeds around my citrus trees on four seperate occasions, always before the really hot days. So far I have zero dead weeds. They look sick for two or threes days then just carry on growing.
Zero stars from me. Barry

I think anything which is designed to kill weeds - organic or not, dogs should be kept away from recently sprayed areas for at least an hour. However, compared to non- organic weeds killers, I'd say it has to be safer for our pets as it is for our wildlife and bees.

Hi John, yes it is, provided you are careful to spray only the weeds. As far as experience teaches me & that fruit trees are fairly shallow rooted, Slasher will not have a harmful affect on your trees should any penetrate the ground.

I have used slasher in the garden for about a year. Only concern is the smell that lingers in the garden for days. Is there something like eucalyptus oil that I can add to conceal the smell?

The the active ingredient is pelargonic acid as it is produced from plants of the genus Pelargonium i.e. Geranium spp. I suggest adding Eucalyptus oil would create a smell even more stinky. David

I have tried using detergent but concerned this will neutralise the acid and reduce effectiveness of spray. Any other suggestions?

I used it for the first time 2 days ago, yes it has a strong smell but it did not smell toxic more organic. I have been extremely impressed with the results and will continue to use it.
