As it should be...

published

Recently used Target online for the first time and have to say I was happy with the experience. I placed 2x large orders of various gifts for Christmas. The company offers free deliver if you sped $X dollars (when I ordered it was $85) which is really great considering Big W and K-Mart still charge for delivery no matter how much you spend. My packages arrived promptly and all delicate items I ordered (for example, glass items) were wrapped generously in bubble wrap so nothing arrived damaged. The products appear to be reasonable quality for the $ amount.

Great service!

Hi every body. I ordered a few clothing items online. One was a mistake. I received the wrong size shirt but the return and exchange was done quickly and with ease. The quality is great for a superstore but still, it was a nuisance.

Is Target trying to lose customers?

published

Bought an item online and logged in to track. Tracking system is an absolute joke and does not work and does not give delivery estimate. So, phoned, waited 15 min then got cut off. At the same time chose "chat" on site and just as I finally came to be next in line to chat, it cancelled. Never ever dealing with such a stupid company again.

Lesson: Don't use Flybuy points online.

published

4 stars instore, big fan of instore service and goods. Two stars online for backend service. My online order was unable to be fulfilled one time. Target shortchanged me on the refund when I paid using Flybuy points. I raised a query within days of being shortchanged. They blamed Flybuys and told me to wait 5 to 6 weeks for processing. Post 6 weeks, I followed up with Flybuys, no response. I asked Target to provide a transaction record of the points being credited. I got a nonsense response, no logical one. Now I am being ignored by Target. It's not the amount, but I have never expected to be shortchanged by a large corporate. Just not happy and thought to share. Lesson: Don't use Flybuy points online.

Avoid.. shop instore

published

Online shopping joke. Paid for delivery and it was allocated to a store for click and collect that was nowhere near me.. so couldnt pick up even if I wanted too. I contacted them by phone, I was 20minutes on hold to be told nothing we can do. Emailed 2 different emails with one replying 3 days later with a copy and paste response. Didnt even acknowledge what I had written. Its been 2 weeks and I still have not received a refund or communication from them. If you shop at Target.. do it instore. The customer service is a joke.

Ridiculous wait on customer service phone line

published

I won't use click and collect again.
I received no SMS received advising ready to collect, hence no invoice received so how can I return unsatisfactory item.
20 then 40 minutes wait on customer service phone line to ascertain order status and then to request copy invoice, which did not arrive. No response to email to customer service.
In store staff seem inadequately trained in the system. Security tags left on purchases requiring another trip to store. Highly annoying experience.

Order cancelled

published

Ordered a Nintendo Switch online from this lot. Item clearly showed stock at the store I intended to collect from. Applied a $50 off coupon and got the price to $379. Money paid in full and guess what? Order cancelled without any communication stating insufficient stock..

How about contacting customers and asking if they want to wait for stock to come in? No? You guessed it? Whoever is calling the shots over there probably realised that customers were getting an awesome deal and decided to give the directive to cancel orders instead.

Appalling conduct

Would give a 0 if possible. Multiple orders cancelled days after payment with no communication whatsoever due to "insufficient stock" of an item which will be restocked very quickly. Appalling conduct.

Target Online Shopping - no proper management of stock availabilty

published

Ordered an item (with full payment made) and Target Online clearly showed the item was available for pick up that day. 3 days later I receive an email to advise that my order had been cancelled due to insufficient stock. If Target cannot manage their stock, they should not offer online shopping.

Disappointing

published

I used to be a keen Target shopper. However the quality of the products (mainly clothes) the range of home products and the stores in general have really deteriorated.
I regularly shopped at this particular store but it now looks like a cheap retail outlet. Such a shame.

Lay-by garbage bags!

published

How is it that when you pick up your Target lay-bys, your purchase is in a cheap, plastic garbage bag? You are not even given the alternative of buying a Target bag. Felt like i was walking through the shopping centre with a bag full of rubbish.
Furthermore, all the hangers come with the purchase. I really don't want the hangers but they are in the plastic garbage bags.

Poor Quality

published

I have purchased singlet tops shoe string straps for years. The price has gone down from $12 to $8. As so has the quality. They were out of stock for a while then a new range appeared so took the opportunity to buy more. This stock was far shorter than my previous purchases and the straps were much shorter. Only had removed the tags off one so was able to return the others. I left a review on the Target website however it was not published. Looks as thou they are only interested to let customers know any positive reviews.

Every time I order online - nothing ever arrives....

published

I have (attempted!?) to purchase a number of items from Target. The items are always listed as available online.
This time - I even received a confirmation that my order was confirmed.
Next day - I get notified I have received a refund - from the company I PAID through. Not Target. Every time. Then nothing. So disappointing - do not bother purchasing online with Target. This has happened for years now - they simply do not care.

Donna L.

Donna L.asked

My daughter received swimwear from Target for Christmas. After wearing them only twice, the bottom and bust area are beginning to pill and the little slivers of elastic within the material are popping out (as they would on older worn out bathers). As they have been worn, and I no longer have the receipt, am I able to exchange them as they are obviously of very low quality (considering what they cost)/faulty? Thanks

How do you read customer reviews for products on the Target Website..... something seems to have changed because even though a product might be listed with yellow review stars with a number in brackets to indicate how many reviews it has had, these customer reviews are not showing on the product page. Does anyone know whether I should be able to read these reviews? I like to read review to help me choose products.

Firstly to Anyhow. Please don't be condescending when you answer questions. I do know that I should ask Target and I already had, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to discuss this with other Target reviewers in case they have had the same problem. I thought that was the part of the purpose of having a Product Review site. Also, Other customers do often answer questions.

I have just discovered the problem was a compatibility problem with my Firefox Browser which now has been fixed. It was not showing some content (ie the reviews in this instance) on the product description pages. I hope this will help someone else who experiences this problem. I logged into my Firefox account and made sure it was updated and bingo, the reviews appeared on the product pages!

Thanks for changing your answer Anyhow. That's much more friendly and helpful.
Yes, it's all fix now. At least if anyone else has this problem they might see this conversation and know what to do.
