Poor Mr Filmer definitely very bad prep work, would be embarrassed putting that picture up. I use this product and Dulux all the time because i have to, this is far supperior and cheaper $100 per 15 l for me against Dulux $145. It flows evenly and has a huge coverage advantage over Dulux.

Purchased in February 2021.

All weather house paint

published

Painted house last year with taubmans all weather. This paint is guaranteed not to crack or blister. But someone forgot to tell my paint that it should not blister. My house is old weather board which I painted when moving into approx 10years ago with taubmans endure did not have a problem. Paint needed redoing so I choose all weather as it was new to market. Have had nothing but problems with blisters all over the walls some places worse than others. Contracted taubmans but not satisfaction as they said it was prep work that was at fault. Do not buy this product as it seems to be faulty and they will not honour guarantee

Purchased in September 2021 at Bunnings Warehouse for A$600.00.

Better than Dulux

published

Very happy with Taubman’s All Weather. Easy to apply with brush and finish is very consistent.

Got mine from bunnings and can be tinted in any color you like.

Dulux weathershield failed early even though it was done by a supposedly Dulux Accredited Painter up to their standards and was never really happy with the finish whenever I used it. This Taubman’s looks very promising.

Purchased in January 2021 for A$80.00.

Easy to use and apply - dries fast but takes 7 days to properly cure

published

Taubmans All weather exterior paint 15L is easy to use and apply. Dries smoothly and evenly with a Airless spray gun.
Only issue is that it takes 7 days to properly cure and not available in many locations except at Mitre 10 stores.
100% acrylic water based paint is easy to clean up.

Can I apply it directly to a new rendered wall or do I need to apply primer first?

Thanks

No primer needed.
Make sure it's clean .

I would suggest you check with your renderer also on what he has used to render with. If he have mixed a sand & cement render from scratch, you need to let the render settle for at least a month or longer before paiting. If he has used a synthetic render eg., ( say) RockCote pre mix, you will be able to paint sooner than a month. Once ready, you don't need a primer, Taubmans say just two coats of All Weather.
Either way after my experience, I would not choose Taubmans's All Weather product at all to paint over render as it failed on two fronts on my place after just two years. Dulux have a new product called Weathershield Render Refresh which has a higher build and is more elastic, so will have a better chance of bridging small spider cracks in your render. Either way, good luck with it all.
