Perfect Koffie
Very happy with the Moccamaster. It brews at the perfect temperature and is also quick and quiet. I much prefer using the Moccamaster to pod machines. It is easier to clean and maintain.
It is an expensive initial cost but I feel it will last longer than other brand pod coffee machines we’ve purchased over the years - it’s 2 years old now and hasn’t missed a beat.
The machine is solid and well made in The Netherlands - built to last.

Very good
One of the best filter machines available. Missed out on 5 stars because of a widely known problem that’s never been fixed - the water doesn’t hit the coffee evenly. You must stir manually once or twice to have proper extraction.
Purchased in December 2021.

lty Coffee Association to a very strict criteria which does not include stirring. Some people stir the grounds and like to “tweak” their brews and experiment with different extraction times and different coffees for different results, however an optimum cup, with the correct extraction, is achieved without stirring the coffee bed on a Moccamaster. We would be happy to send you the criteria which the ECBC use to test the machines and how they arrive at approving a machine. Moccamaster has had their stamp of approval for many years now. Flimsy
Makes great coffee. Beware the thin, flimsy glass jug which slipped in my hand while washing it in the sink and shattered! Replacement one is very expensive. Wouldn't buy this machine again just for that reason. I will get the Breville with stainless steel jug!

lass, breakages can occur and if and when it does we send new jugs out to the customer by Express Post which we include in the price of the jug at $50. It's perfect, best coffee!
The moccamaster is the best purchase ever! So easy to use, easy to clean and makes an absolutely delicious coffee. It's good to see that when you go to cafes around Victoria they are also using the moccamaster, which proves it's a great machine! I wasn't a coffee lover until I purchased this machine, now I use it every day!

So worth it
Bought this Moccamaster off the back of a very unhappy Nespresso experience - I know, I know... - and two years on, I couldn't be happier with it.
It's quick and quiet - and best of all, makes a very hot, rich and flavoursome coffee - not to mention easy to clean and low-maintenance.
I'm (still) a coffee ignoramus, but my friends aren't, and they love the coffee it makes. Meanwhile I'm just happy to enjoy a great cup of coffee that pretty much makes itself while I'm still waking up, and quietly.

achines that coffee experts rate as highly as the great espresso makers, which comes in handy when you're in a cafe needing advice about bean varieties and the staff ask you what type of machine you use. Like a few of the other reviewers, I bought it direct from the Australian Technivorm distributers, Nordcoffee. They were very patient when I called, and answered all my enquirers. Best of the Best
After doing my research well I decided to purchase the well reviewed Technivorm Moccamaster. More pricey than the competition, the company has a reputation of building quality machines made to last and support them with a 5 year warranty. While not strong on the whizz bang fancy features this beautiful machine makes the best coffee, super fast and piping hot. I couldn't be more impressed.

Rolls Royce of drip filters
Had ours for about a year now and reckon this is as good as drip filter coffee makers get. Having friends with various brands of drip filter coffee makers(Sunbeam and Breville), my biggest complaint was always coffee not being hot enough out of the machine, considering I drink it black you would expect it to be hot so if you added milk it would have to be pre-heated first.

Excellent coffee machine.
I purchased the Moccamaster after our old Sunbeam drip filter coffee maker died. Not satisfied with reviews on the cheaper drip filters on the market I wanted a good quality one that won't die after warranty expires. I found a supplier just 5 minutes from me and decided to investigate. The unit is simple to use, fast and very quiet. Unlike my old Sunbeam, it gives me the full 10 cups of coffee. My Sunbeam would lose so much water (through steam) that I'd only ever end up with 9 cups instead of the 10 cups of coffee I wanted. The Moccamaster as ...Read more
an auto shut off which is handy when I forget to switch if off. It also has an adjustable flow button on the filter so coffee ground to steep longer if only making 2-6 cups. The heating plate keeps coffee at 80 degrees (yes, I have confirmed this) so no need to "nuke" coffee anymore. The water well has a removable lid so very easy to fill with a jug or pull out sink tap as we have. Down side..doesn't have a timer so I can't set it to switch on itself. It's a well built and designed unit with a 5 year warranty which was a big drawer card. We're very happy with it. It's pricey but you get what you pay for.Similar opinion? Surprisingly Speedy, Excellent Coffee
Not a cheap machine to buy ( Won the US award for best coffee maker in the world ) and like all coffee makers, if you put rubbish beans in then rubbish coffee comes out . That said, hard to beat for getting great coffee and amazingly quick from start to finish. Highly reccommended after trying 6 other coffee makers in the last 10 years this, finally is the one and unlike the dreaded capsule maker machines you get a BIG serving of full flavoured coffee and you can regulate the strength .

Moccamaster Delicious!
I have been using the technivorm moccamaster for about a year now and i can't fault it!
It is consistently smooth every time and makes a gorgeous, satisfying cup in less than two minutes. In the morning, i really appreciate how quick and easy it is to use!
I have stopped drinking espresso now as i prefer the smooth flavour of the drip filter coffee.

Yes, absolutely. I bought mine from the Nord Coffee Au site but there are other Australian sites selling them.
Yes, but only a couple of models are available in Australia compared to the US and Europe and prices vary greatly so shop around online we found them from $389 up to $499 either with the glass carafe or the S/S Thermo carafe.
