Easy to order, fast to arrive. Actually is echo friendly packaging and I'm now using bulk pack 210 load second use soft packs in their closed circuit system. Scent is great and cleans clothes very well. It seems to last a long long time- just 4/5 squirts each wash, I am definetely getting the number of loads it says per package. Highly recommend supporting this Aussie company doing great stuff

Love Love Love
Whenever I try a product claiming to be “eco friendly” Im always a little sceptical that won’t be as effective as the traditional version, but that couldn’t not be more wrong for this detergent! I’m blown away by how effective this detergent is, my clothes feel so fresh and clean and smell amazing. The packaging looks great in my laundry and the refill return system is so easy and it feel great to be re using the packaging instead of just throwing things away. Thanks Dirt!

Changing my review on this after a much better second experience with the product.
I previously wrote a fairly negative review on here, as I'd had a lot issues with the smell of my clothes whilst using the product. However, I'm completely backflipping on that now. Dirt Laundry reach out to me to try to figure out and rectify the situation and the communication was so appreciated. After having the chance to try a different batch of the product, I've not had any of the same issues I had previously. My clothes smell great and my trust in the brand has been restored. Only deducting 1 star because I'm not 100% sure of future efficacy with the product until I purchase another batch, but really hoping it will be fine.

Been using DIRT now for 2 yrs. Love the smell. Love the fact I can return my empty refills and they will be used again. Love that it's environmentally friendly and it works, every time ❤❤❤❤❤

Never going back to the supermarket
I am beyond obsessed with the Dirt Company. They tick every box for me. The products are all very effective and I love the subtle scents. Nothing has been better for my active wear and work wear (I work in a warehouse) than Advanced Wash, truly a game changer. Not only this, their customer service team is amazing - super responsive and will go above and beyond to help out.
If you've on the fence about going environmentally friendly in the laundry, this is your sign.

Relieved to have finished my bulk pack
I love the closed loop recycling Dirt offers, but unfortunately when they changed their formula the detergent no longer left clothes smelling fresh. Gym clothes would still stink when removed from the wash. Dirt offered a lot of suggestions that put the issue back on me (eg my machine might need a clean, I must be used to highly perfumed laundry detergent). They suggested I send in some gym clothes to be looked at by their chemist (for which they offered to reimburse me) but I wasn’t confident it would help me at all, so I declined. I was offer
... Read moreed the opportunity to send what remained of the bulk pack at my cost. I opted to use it on lightly soiled clothes instead. Dirt did offer a sample of their stronger scented wash for heavily soiled clothes but my son has eczema and I didn’t want him to have irritation. I’ve since found a different eco friendly, low fragrance option that is working as perfectly as Dirt did for me before they changed their formula. I am still using the Dirt delicate wash and will probably continue to, but I won’t be sinking my money on their original wash again. Edit: the Dirt Company business owner reached out to me after this review and offered a much better explanation for what I was experiencing following the formula change. I really appreciate the follow up response and will re-assess after I try their advanced wash.
Used for a few years
I have used dirt for a few years now, can I say the switch to glass bottles was a clever move ! So much better. I tried a different wash recently and let me tell you its not the same, i went to use it as a stain remover as i have with dirt and it took the colour our ruining the garment. So I can not wait to get my dirt back.

Love the glass bottles, they look great. I have a front loader and don't use the full dose and still have a great clean wash. Great being able to return packages for reuse. Have recommended these products to many friends.

Eco friendly laundry care
It's great to know how your decisions have impacted on the environment. Dirt let you know regularly how much plastic you have saved going into landfill by using their products. As for the quality of the wash, it's been great..clean everytime without heavy perfumes. I've been using the original scent for more than a year and am very satisfied with the results.

Perfect, didn't think I would find such a great performing product that ticked so many boxes and stil so economical
Wash all household items from underwear to towels, sheets and pet items.
Cleans perfectly on even hard to move stains.
I have skin allergies to a number of products but The Dirt I have no irritation.

So happy with our switch
We love the handy dispenser which takes up very little space in our washroom. The detergent is used for our babies clothes, cloth nappies, our clothes and my husbands filthy tradie uniforms and suits everything. We haven’t had refilled bags yet so I’m not sure how smooth the swapping goes but customer service has been great so far and we love the company’s low waste and plastic free ethos.

Is the Original Laundry liquid and Advanced Detergent both compatible with front loader machines? I’m leaning toward trying the Advanced, but want to know if it is harsher on fabrics over time than the original?
Hey! All of our products are suitable for both top and front loader machines - our dosage requirements are based on front loader machines.
In regards to the harshness on fabrics, nor the Advanced or Original Detergent should do any damage to your clothes over time, unless they are particularly delicate. The difference between the two is the antibacterial properties in the Advanced, to tackle dirtier, smellier loads.
Delicate items, especially protein based materials (Wool, silk etc.) are best to be washed with our Delicates range.

I purchased the starter pack but only received part of the products. Missing the booster pack and have emailed and messaged on Insta and no reply from the diet company. Love the smell of the advanced wash liquid but disappointed no reply re missing order items. Do they take a while to respond ?
I had a problem with an order that didn't arrive. I used Facebook messenger, left my phone number and they called me that day and it was sorted. Couldn't have been more helpful and apologetic, even though the problem was auspost. Have to say auspost were very helpful too.

You can get it online and it’s delivered to you. I recommend starting with a starter pack or a bundle pack. I also purchased the steel pegs (they’re awesome and I’m phasing out plastic ones with steel as the plastic falls apart).
