Absolute rubbish
I have purchased this product twice and both lots have worked for a few months then the screen kept going black and it wouldnt charge or record and always sim card fault comes up have tried everything never never again will I buy Uniden cameras worst brand ever

Hopeless
App regularly refuses to log in - then randomly will - but probably only 1 attempt out of every 10 is successful.
will be throwing it out and buying another brand.

Uniden cameras home unit
This unit is hopeless I rang uniden for help and they kept on giving me useless advise I had a lot of trouble with guardian live app its just not reliable I would recommend anyone don't waste your money on this, it's rubbish even swan products are better so please don't make the same mistake as I did.

absolute rubbish system
The unit/console started developing problems within 2 months and has been on going battery stops charging and the unit fails, black screen. The warranty service from this company is shocking and have now issued them with a ultimatum to fix by certain date or i will take them to fair trading NSW. The worst is the company staff have no idea what there doing the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing i will never buy a uniden product again.

Check reviews BEFORE purchase... i wish i had...
My G2940 9" monitor worked well for about 9 months then started playing up until it didn't work at all, just a black screen. Returned it to Uniden and that's when the fun started. Uniden agreed the monitor is faulty and would replace it BUT with a temporary 7" as they were out of stock of the 9". 6 weeks later still no replacement. Spent the next 3 weeks back and forth with Customer Service ( don't try calling, you wont get a human and they will never ring you back ), finally they tell me there is no replacement for the now discontinued 9" (eve...Read more
n though they still advertise it on their website) and they are sending me out the smaller, older 7". It arrived in bubble wrap, not in new packaging and without the "included SD card".. I think they could have compensated me at the very least by sending me their latest 7" model. Then I decided to check Uniden reviews and I was shocked, had I done that first I would never have bought from this company. VERY disappointed with what I believed was a reputable company... they have absolutey no interest in good customer service... YOU have to continually chase them. This is the second G2940 monitor I've purchased. Works for few months then black screen won't charge or turn On. Seems 2 other people have wrote the same things in the reviews can you send me new one or replace this. I've contacted the ACCC and logged a claim under consumer warranty.

The internal battery is not available as a purchase item.
We do not advise for customers to change the internal battery by themselves because if a component is put in incorrectly and causes the unit to malfunction, we can't take responsibility for such cases.
The internal battery is recommended to be changed only by our qualified technicians.
