Good product but so hard to open 50g jar
I do like the product but I find it so hard to open the 50g plastic jar. I have damaged my nails so many times already and it's not getting any easier.

helps with my bub's diaper rash
my baby has a sensitive skin and at the moment, I am still figuring out what diaper to use and it resulted to my baby having rashes. I bought a small size of this and it did wonders, not only it saved me from waiting of my baby everytime I put some diapers on but it provided comfort to her as well.
Purchased in for $9.99.

Reliable for generations.
My Dad swears by Vaseline, he keeps a tub on his bedside table and applies it to his lips every night. Whenever my sister or myself have had chapped lips, dry skin, chaffing, cracked heels - you name it, if all else fails, steal some of Dad's Vaseline and it will do the trick. It's very versatile and reliable. It's become something of a staple in many households, including my own.

Can't go wrong
Vaseline Petrolium Jelly has been around for many years, I remember my grandmother always had it in her bathroom cupboard, as did my mum and so do I. Great for dry lips and dry skin generally. It is a little sticky and takes some time to absorb but it's effective. For really dry hands, apply liberally and rub for several minutes, apply cotton gloves overnight and wash hands in the morning. Vaseline is very cheap and has no perfume fragrance, so it is very mild on even sensitive skin. So forget the big name products and give Vaseline a go.

Whenever my skin is in a really bad condition I use Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. I suffer from dry skin and sometimes my normal lotion can't cope with it. In this case I use Vaseline Petroleum Jelly over night and it helps my skin tremendously. It is cheap and available in every supermarket. I don't think I would use it on a daily basis as it does not easily is soaked up by the skin. Normally I use it on my very dry feet and I then wear socks overnight. This is the perfect cure fro my cracked heals. I tried it on my lips but would not recommend it as the taste is off putting.

This is a handy little product to have around in the cupboard. I have used this product for a variety of things from cracked skin to dry lips to baby rashes. It is one of the more inexpensive nappy rash creams around and readily available. The only downside is that it can be quite sticky so if you put it on your hands or feet you can't really touch anything for a while. Definitely worth keeping some around at all times.
Very inexpensive and has a wide range of uses from nappy rash to dry skin and lips.
There is none, it is a great product.

Its a fine well known product to use on dry skin and is very well known throughout the world. There is no smell, but it does have a Vaseline smell which is very slight. It can be used to soften even rough edges on leather shoes, and a little goes a long way.
This is a good and effective product and I used to use it on my lips until I discovered the petroleum jelly part. I know, the name should have given it away for me. This product has a lot of uses, I use it to remove eye makeup and also to combat dry skin on elbows or feet. I use it during w...

Vaseline has to be one of the most recognisable products around. It is cost effective and versatile - it can be used for chapped lips, for a baby's chapped bum and for any skin that is sore or chapped!! It is a great poduct and you only need to use a small amount.
This is such a great product with so many uses. From chapped lips to a baby's sore bum. I even used it to surround my son's wart when I had to paint on some wart removal cream.
Nothing much - it is slightly greasy, but that is not a problem.

Vaseline Jelly has so many uses from cracked lips to babys bottom and more. It would have to be the most versatile product I have come across. It comes in different sizes so you dont have to buy the large one, I have a small one and I am not half way through it yet...That good because you are certainly on a money saver. I have seen it used to move zips and in garages to loosen niuts and bolts. The packaging could be updated but the price is reasonable even cheap, and the product well it has so many uses you have to give it Ten out of Ten. Available at any supermarket.
Its good it has many uses and it has been round for years.

Vaseline works by retaining moisture while preventing outside elements from penetrating our skin. I can use it on my chapped and dry lips at night and wake up with soft lips. Same with my cracked heels, I apply generously then put on socoks before hopping into bed. A true life saver for the windy winter months.
-One tub is chea and lasts a long time
-Multiple uses on dry lips, dry elbows, cracked heels, dry cuticles and more
-Commonly found everywhere (supermarket, service stations, pharmacies, online etc)
-Leaves skin/fingers oily and shiney after use
-When dipping my finger into the tub to get some Vaseline, it gets under my nails

Great barrier cream for baby's bottom and also good for dry lips, but for hygiene sake would use two separate jars for these purposes.
Not scented or coloured. Can be used all over including dry lips. Very cheap. Comes in multiple pack sizes for home and travelling/nappy bag.
Leaves greasy feel

Vaseline Petroleum Jelly is a useful product for preventing wind burn and cracked lips although it is not particularly pleasant to have on your lips in my opinion. It is also handy for preventing friction soreness when doing very long runs if you apply a little to you inner thighs.
Inexpensive and has many practical uses. It can be used for other things besides skin care such as lubricating door hinges or other metal parts that require it.
There has been a long running debate about the carcenogenic nature of petrochemicals with the most zealous opponents claiming that every petrochemical substance is carcenogenic to some degree.

We as a family having been using vaseline for around 25 years, great product especially for children to prevent nappy rash. Great for dry lips as it shields them and keeps the moisture in them. Even used this product for when my ears were peirced to help turn the earrings. Has been used on car batteries as well
What can you say about vaseline its so versatile, very reasonable priced and avialble in loads of shops.
the mess that it makes on your hands and the fact that its waterproof makes it quite hard to get of your skin especially if your not around soap.

This product has a vast range of uses from a lip conditioner to baby rash cream to helping to moisturise dry hands. I grew up with this product in the home and I believe everyone should have some in the bathroom cabinet. I use this a lot if I get cracked lips but there are plenty of other uses that it is good for and it really does help to keep things moist.
Versatile product with a variety of uses, easy to find and not that pricey. Lasts for quite some time.
Can feel a little greasy after use, other than that nothing.

You need Dermaveen. Available in chemists. My face was so dry it cracked in corners and was always red. One week of Dermaveen and it was better. I use baby soap, no cleansers, not even QV or baby washes. Baby soap was perfect.
