I am changing the blades for the first time from new(Victa classic) and our local hardware have not the blades that came with mower Victa 376. Is it Ok to fit Bynorm 800-001P. It is slightly longer than the original blade that came with mower.
1 answer
Unless you know exactly how long the blades are and then compare that against the room available in the deck, then I would not try. However if it does fit you can try but the cutting and catching capability may be limited.

Just bought a Victa classic cut. how long before I have to change the first oil fill?
1 answer
After 5 hours of operation, the oil should be changed. The oil is drained from the same place it is filled from, by tilting the mower 90 degrees towards the fill tube. The next time that you will have to change the oil is after 50 hours of annually, depending on how you treat the engine. Their are other items that you should replace and check at certain points, if you would like to know just ask!

I put a small amount of petrol in the oil area. I tipped it all out . where is the sump to run some oil through or will i just put oil back in now and start ?

I would Remove all the oil from the oil tank and let it air put in a dry place. The fuel vapour will dry out and then add fresh oil. Start the motor and off you go
Their is no sump to drain oil from, the fill is the drain as well, I agree with the previous answers, just remove all liquids in the oil area and let it dry.
