We love our Weber Kettle. I was initially skeptical of the product but my hubby will not get any other bbq set - he swears by a Weber. I'm now a convert, meat is always cooked to perfection on the Weber. We've roasted a chicken in it before & it came out fantastic, skin was crisp, meat tender. Next project to experiment with - Christmas turkey. We've also done satays on the weber & I thought they came out quite well. If you don't mind getting the fire going, then the heat bead model is for you, but if I were on my own, I'll probably get t...Read more
he electric model. Hubby thinks heat beads are the way to go. - meat cook to perfection. - meat do not dry out, always succulent on the inside but crisp on the outside. - heat beads don't burn out easily. - easy to extinguish lighted beads by closing the vent.

Excellent
A brilliant kettle BBQ, this is one of the best I have seen. My dad had a Rinnai kettle and its just not that same as a Weber. The compact design doesnt reduce the cooking surface inside the kettle, so you can still cook large cuts of meat. Have had no trouble keeping the heat bads alight. Highly reccomended
Compact, cooks evenly with a great flavour

Haven't had a Weber Compact Kettle for a number of years,(Not sure if they still make them) and have missed it, as it was a brilliant performer.
Last one we had was RED, and was given away when we last moved house, and therein lies the problem, the Mrs wants another RED one. Any Ideas, ??

The only way to get one would be second hand, gumtree or eBay but would be very rare to find a red compact that said I've got a brand new one never used (black) for sale
Thank you for your reply. Rare indeed in red. Unfortunately Black does not cut it with the Mrs, but thanks for the offer,
Cheers
