Cheap. Thought it was not working well but turns out it's likely the long garden hose I'm using. The bigger the hose the better the flow so keep that in mind.

Bang for your buck!

On special for $49, goes great.
Don't listen to what Susan is saying in her review as she probably had no idea how to prime the pump.
For the price you cannot complain about it, especially with a one year warranty.

Great submersible pump for home handyman swimming pool maintenance

published

This pump was great value for money and worked brilliantly for the purpose I needed it. I had to drain the water from my home swimming pool to do some maintenance which included acid washing. This pump worked tirelessly for over 5 hours and delivered a great outcome.

It is discontinued. The Bunnings guy said manufactures often discontinue unprofitable lines to focus on the profitable ones. I got the new line Ryobi instead.

How well does the floaty start stop function work, I need a new pump for my cellar and I don't want a pump that needs to get a foot deep before it starts pumping or leaves a heap of water on the floor after cutting out.
