Yamaha Always delivers excellent Sound
This is an excellent 4K receiver with plenty of power for a full cinema setup capable of 7.2.4.
This replaced my 1080P Yamaha receiver. The sound is always excellent as Yamaha traditionally is.
There is a comprehensive range of inputs and outputs and always more than enough HDMI inputs.
Setup was a little difficult, but upon reading the instructions afterwards, Yamaha ask you to download an app to your phone and setup from your phone and presto! So easy. Be sure to get the app!
The remote is nowhere near as good as previous Yamaha remotes a...Read more
nd there is so much scrolling required, where there was always direct buttons previously. I haven't enjoyed the remote at all and would rate this as the only bug-bear, otherwise this is an excellent receiver worthy of a place in any home cinema setup.Similar opinion? Goog receiver with excellent sound
This is a good receiver. Plenty of HDMI inputs, good power and rich sound
Setting it up is a bit of a frustrating experience. The instructions that come with the receiver are poor at best, almost non-existent.
The remote is huge and has a heap of buttons. I do wish there were direct buttons for the input options, rather than having to toggle to select my desired input.
Overall I really like the sound quality and there are so many functions, some I am sure I am not even using
This is a solid mid-range priced av receiver that can be the hub of a great quality home theatre system.
