I am planning on traveling around Australia while doing a tour/work type holiday and have been informed by youi consultant that as I am permanently living in caravan and am starting my journey very soon they cannot insure.

I wanted one insurer for car and caravan.
I will not be renewing my car insurance with youi next year. Will be getting quotes from companies that will insure both vehicles.

I did find customer service is above average however youi get a 1 out of 10 from me.

Reasonably good value, excess a bit too high.
Policy fairly easy and o set up.
Customer support service good.
Even though it is convenient having many policies with one company, I will always seek other quotes.

Phoned outside normal hours at 6.30am and spoke to Youi operator who was easy to understand and made the whole process simple. Ended up with a great value policy covering the caravan all over Australia. Policy covers break down clauses and towing as well as a bonus $200 off the following year if all states are traveled within the insurance cover period. Good company to deal with and have two vehicles also covered with Youi.

Very informative,fast and suited me. Lindsey was fantastic giving me the low down on the insurance and very friendly to speak with. She also suggested other options of insurance which I will think about.

Youi were the 3rd company I contacted about caravan insurance. The other 2 refused to insure for market value, only purchase price which was half its market value. Youi only wanted to know how many wheels, the length and some other details and we agreed on a value. Simple no fuss.

Very happy with Youi's service, price and ease of taking out a policy. Great NZ guy to deal with rang back when he said he would. Other insurance company's wouldn't insure my 5th wheeler (they didn't know what it was!!!) and the one that would was very expensive, but no hassel for Youi.

Youi Maintains all our Vehicles and Equipment, adding back into 6 items the Youi service and commitment is always only the Best.

I would like to thank Tash, Joanne & Sarah for all the time & patience with us to achieve our insurance certificate in the purchase of our caravan. Yes it took 4 goes however at the end we got there due to the efficiency of the staff at Youi. It wasn't there fault that it took 4 goes it was the finance company.
