Jay was professional, on time, most accommodating and an excellent driver.
He was able to fit 6 different trips in a day to accommodate my business and family travels within Newcastle and to the airport.
I can highly recommend his services and will ensure I call his cab every time I am in Newcastle and surrounding areas.
His flexibility and outstanding client service made my trip stress free with a wonderful afternoon spent with my dear elderly Dad… that I otherwise would not have been able to have .

13cabs drivers have worked out a scam
I have now had enough. 3 times in the last few months I have booked 13cabs to go to Sydney City and the airport using the "price guarantee". While the service is ok as they do turn up on time....all 3 drivers have worked out the scam. When you arrive at the destination they make some sort of fuss about the app not calculating tolls properly, and cancel the trip. (Even though it's already been paid for) They then get you to pay again, and you get a full refund for the original trip. I'm not comfortable with this and will not use 13cabs again

Booked a taxi for the airport at 6am didn't even pitch up no call or nothing won't use them again bring uber to Geraldton can't attach invoice didn't even pitch

Unreliable booking service, a dont care attitude
We had a flight to catch, I booked a cab for a 6.30am 24hrs prior, the taxi was 25mins late!! When I called yo find out where our cab was, the lady said the type of vehicle we needed (station wagon due to luggage) wasnt available, if its not available let your booked customers know so we can make other arrangements..simple!!....I queried the lady who couldnt give a crap on the other end of the phone and she said, "they couldnt possibly notify all their customers when these things happen"! Well i couldnt possibly book with 13cabs again when we need a reliable service, and who the hell hires these clueless people with no customer service skills whatsoever!!
Rude employees at Sale
We called a cab and women answered the call, said it would take time and after waiting for awhile we called the 13 cabs to ask the status but they didn't even let me finish the question and they rudely talked to me to stop calling them. One of the worst of the worst taxi service as this was hiw they responded last day too. My advise, don't reach out here for a cab

Disgusting service
Went to Sydney Airport and took a cab from this company to go to a destination that is 8 minutes away.
The driver was a bit frustrated, rude and complaining about waiting one hour for a fare as he doesn't get pay enough for it and he said I should have taken the bus there - pointing to the bus in the airport.
And he was sighing all the time. Like, I pay you to get from A to B, at least treat me - a customer with respect.

I specifically booked a maxi taxi going to the airport on 18 September 2023 at 6:30pm. The taxi arrived late (6:45pm) and the taxi that arrived is not a maxi taxi but just an SUV. Our luggages struggled to fit (4 large and 4 small luggages) with 4 passengers. I have to cancel the trip (within 2min after the taxi left the house) as the ride was very uncomfortable and have to return back home. I raised a feedback via customer care on 18 September at 7:07pm and never received a response since then. I will never avail this service again.

Over charged >$900 on <20km ride
On 12th september, we took 13cab van from tullamarin airport to ivanhoe. The driver charged us $1041.18. Taxi id m5719. Driver id506891, I sent complain, no answer.
Worst service
I called them to booked cab through number with time. There was no call from drivers as communicated. After waiting for long time when i called them, these people said there is no booking with your number and then demanded triple charged amount to book service.
Fare is not fixed it can be any amount as per their wish and then they do bargain with you.
Pathetic unprofessional service. I will not refer them to anyone.

No service, useless
If I could give zero stars I would. Don't take a booking from Mohammed in Dixon's Creek, he accepted our booking at 9.00am and cancelled 5 minutes before 7.15pm pickup. We will miss our dinner appointment thanks to him.

They couldn't find where I was in downtown n their solution was I had attitude because I spoke slowly for them. I was 15 metres from the main highway.

My mum had a wheelchair Booked after her grandson’s year 12 graduation for 815 to return her to her age care. We were out the front 10 minutes prior.. after countless telephone calls between the age, care and nobody responding. The aged care said they are very busy. Mum sitting in wheel chair for hours. In the end had to call friends to come and pick her up and took a few people to help in the car. Finally the cab turned up and said only one wheelchair cab available and not able to make the 815 appointment. Got home 11pm
The is appalling. Is this how we treat our elderly.

Unreliable and hard to contact
We weren't able to book an uber while in Toowoomba but surprisingly we were able to prebook a 13 cab to get us to the train in time. We're able to prepay as well. All on the App. We set our alarm and was on the street at 5:50 am for the scheduled arrival at 6 am. We started getting worried at 6:10 then 6:20. Never was able to speak to a real person and the animated Ai answering machine never understood what We needed. A security guard named Al bailed us out and got to the train station 15 minutes before it departed.
Complaining drivers
All Adelaide Independent taxi drivers can do complain about a taxi fare from Adelaide Railway Station to Kenttown SA, so after my business appointment I didn't bother ringing Adelaide independent taxi again, I went with a totally different taxi company to take me home to Daw Park SA 5041 I would never recommend that company again
Didn’t turn up
Made online booking a week prior as booking a maxi taxi for international airport leaving at 11.30pm. At time of booking the app still stated it was searching for my ride. No phone number to talk to anyone, only to make a new booking. Got a phone call at the time we were due to be picked up stating they didn’t have a maxi taxi in my area and would be another 25 mins. Couldn’t wait as didn’t want to be late for my flight. Ended up driving and parking at airport for 2 weeks, not a cheap alternative. Will never use again. What’s the point in booking in advance if they don’t organise a vehicle for you.

Ordered a cab for my daughter 4hrs before she needed it, an hour later still no cab! Will never use this service again!

Horrible service. Booked a cab to arrive at my elderly mums house to take her to a specialist appointment that was booked months ago and these clowns refused to turn up. Three times I booked with them. No one arrived. Disgusting. Made her miss the appointment.

Booked an 11 seater, online and phoned to confirm. Going to a wedding, specified we could not be late, cab not here 15 mins late already, phoned cab co, they don't even have an 11 seater on the road, so we are all in our cars now going to the venue, hopefully get there in time. Really very annoyed, totally useless.

Pathetic. yesterday and b thought I would give a cab over ride-share for a change. I needed to be at my destination at 12pm sharp for an appointment. so I prebooked it at 9:00am for 11:30 pickup.

Horrible
Drivers will call and say I'm just a few minutes away when the GPS clearly shows they are headed to another job. Last time I used this mob I waited 45 mins. This time I cancelled after 15 mins and took an uber. Do yourself a favour and take an uber or look for another taxi company - although unsure if they've all gone this way.

Booked cab, driver went to incorrect address, just assumed it was a hotel then had the hide to blame us. I got into the cab and the driver started to drive off before my husband was in the cab. Went to put my seatbelt on only to discover it was broken. Cab was at least clean.

Precooked. No show. Link for cab location showed as trip completed. Called customer service on hold for 20mins. Told should be ther soon. 1hr later still no show. Hopefully they go bust.
Don’t book online - they won’t show up
Pre-booked a cab online. Received email confirmation of the booking. The cab didn’t arrive and after waiting for 20 mins I drove myself to hospital for my operation. Don’t use this company, unreliable and untrustworthy.
Disappointing
Booked a wheelchair taxi a day in advance for elderly mother-in-law. Waited 15 minutes kept informing me nothing available. Rebooked and still nothing. Had to cancel both bookings and was hour late. Don’t take bookings you cannot fulfil
Filthy interior
The service was prompt and friendly. The experience was let down by an interior that needed a good clean. The seat I sat in was soiled and the dashboard looked like softdrink had been sprayed on it and not being cleaned. I was glad that I wasn't wearing my best clothes when I seated myself on the soiled seat. The exterior looked like it hadn't been washed in a while and really let down the 13 Cabs brand.
Not happy with 123 cabs
Today I used 123cabs they changed me extra money from amount they said on both sides how can I get my money back

No way to contact customer service, no response from taxi company. Booked a trip, received the "how was your trip" message three minutes later!!! They never showed up and charged me anyway. Still waiting for a reply through the app!!! DO NOT USE COMPLETE SCAM ARTISTS.
Melbourne Airport taxi
I had been on a long flight to Melbourne and was very tired. After landing I went to the taxi rank. I noticed there weren't many other people wanting taxis. It's been a long time since I've flown to Melbourne. Maybe that's why I didn't have to queue for a taxi. Gave my home address to the taxi driver. Taxi driver said he had to check with his boss before he could drive me, and he started to get out of the car! Obviously some kind of bargaining/scam going on - if a driver can't get enough $$$ out of you for a fare, they'll reject your fare.
... Read more I don't live very close to the airport. The fare would have been about $40 and I always give a $5-10 tip of the driver takes my bag and is professional. I got out of the car and refused to go with that driver. The person overseeing the taxi rank told him he was breaking rules but a couple of other taxi drivers there also refused to take me. One driver who agreed they were doing the wrong thing took me. I gave him a big tip when I got home! You don't need this greedy, grasping attitude when you've been travelling and you just want to get home. I won't be using 13 cabs or any other cab that waits at the airport for the public to get off planes. Will use either the Skybus, private parking or Uber from now on.Why are they still in business
No wonder Uber is taking over, these people are a disgrace. Booked a cab, got a text to say it was on the way with driver name and taxi number, even though the app said they were still trying to find a cab. Waited outside for 20 minutes then the entire record of the booking disappeared. Found a phone number to call but you get 2 options - to book a cab now or book one later. You can’t speak to a person to ask whether a cab is even coming. I will NEVER use this excuse for a business again. Zero stars.

Pre booked Cabot be sure I would be at my important appointment on time.
Cab was late, I phoned company to be told that they didn’t have a taxi for me and then just hung up! I missed my appointment!

Process is floored and a tort
Booked on line via app entered pick up and destination and the system used pick up and destination as same driver commented and nothing more said until arrival he then commented the system was incorrect I offered my mobile number so they could sort the difference between app and actual cost he was happy with that next thing I have police ringing me re fraud .after attending police station I paid the difference to the driver

No response to email regarding costs
Was charged above what the estimate was on their site. Sent an email asking why and if they could explain why there was a big difference. No response sent a further two emails over two weeks no response. This is the end I am now going to look into using Uber. They wonder why their patronage is down.
App Overcharge 13cabs
Booked cab on 13cabs app. when cab arrived a cost of $29.08 was charged for a 1.9 kilometer trip. Complained immediately and have since been completely stonewalled and told that i was charged the correct fare. The return journey on RSL cabs was $11.00.
Unreliable, greedy and untrained drivers, leaving customers out of pocket, shouldn’t be operating.
I’ve had a few successful trips with the app. Then it went downhill. Fast. One driver called to cancel. The subsequent driver needed to be paid despite the app already having charged me for the original booking. I was refunded within 2 days so gave it another chance.
Next incident, driver doesn’t show. Instead I’m sent a request to rate the trip as having been completed. A nightmare getting refunded and still waiting weeks later, despite emails and phone calls. The last job ticket number: 667856
