Good value but...
Brought this laptop for $675. has AMD A9 chip capable of 3.6 GHZ, Radeon 520 graphics card with 2GB dedicated VRAM and 8 gig DDR4 RAM. when I first tried it it was slow, but after taking Norton anti virus off and adjusting the CPU settings for maximum performance it is now very quick. It also comes with a blue light shield to help protect your eyes. The graphics card settings can also be adjusted. This machine runs windows 10 and browsing the internet is only fast using the Microsoft edge browser. It seems like Microsoft slows down the other browsers when you launch them to make their browser seem faster

Its ok but
Recently purchased Acer Aspire3 notebook...it claims to be faster but I find it extremely slow. Has all the features that you would expect in a notebook or laptop today.
Is ok, good not great.

Bought this from Harvey Norman
After asking the Harvey Norman staff at Broadway shopping centre, we picked this labtop on price and needs but it seems to run pretty slowly, my missus says even her 5 year old labtop boots up quicker than this labtop. We only use it for basic tasks like emails and looking on the internet but we were expecting it to be a bit faster than it is

Good value for a budget laptop with 15.6" display
It's pretty hard to go wrong with this entry level laptop currently selling at Harvey Norman for $387.00. If your needs are basic, then this laptop could be for you. It has an AMD processor, 4GB RAM, and a 500GB hard drive. Unless you intend to store a lot of graphics files, and require above average processing power, this laptop does the job.
The first thing I did, was remove Norton Security, and any other programs that I did not need, which might slow the laptop down. I'm happy to stick with Microsoft Defender for AV as my browsing habits ar...Read more
e low risk. I like the feel of the keyboard, and general presentation of the laptop. The internal fan can bee a bit noisy. Keep in mind that you do not get a CD/DVD drive with this model, but who cares, as most software is downloaded these days. This Acer laptop has access panels underneath, so that you can easily upgrade the RAM and HDD if you want to. Unlike my low-end HP laptop which has no access panels for the RAM and hard drive. So far, this laptop meets my expectations and requirements.
