Amazing after only 8 hours from application
for Cats Purple (Large Cats)Used other products but my oh my this Advantage works so quick . I feel relived and stress free . It got great reviews but it's excelled
. 5 stars plus it deserves. So happy my cat is now relaxed . It also kills any that jump onto your cat so no need to do your house with other products just give it a few days . Job done
Burned my Cat
for Cats Purple (Large Cats)I have used the product for many months. But the pack I started last week burnt my cat, she has a round sore on the back of her neck, and where the liquid has run down it has taken all her fur off. I did write to the company via their website but as yet they have not replied.
As good as paint stripper
for Cats Purple (Large Cats)First time I have used this product on my cat. After application my cat started drooling and running around the house shaking her head. Unfortunately where she had been shaking her head on our timber floors it has taken the varnish off our floors! Won't be buying this product again.

for Cats Purple (Large Cats)I was more than skeptical about products like this, tried it on her (Cat) and was amazed, No more Fleas, so easy to use and didn't notice any side effects from her at all, money well spent. not sure if i can say this but buy it online, a lot cheaper than in stores, way cheaper.

for Cats Purple (Large Cats)Put this on my cat the other day, and he seems to be having a bad reaction. He didn't finish his dinner that evening (which only happens if he's not well), and has been inside lying around for 3 days now. As an outdoor cat he's often gone all day, so this is very unusual behavior for him.
This stuff smells a bit chemically, but is otherwise a fantastic product!

I used it on my cats as soon as I got it in the mail, and within two hours of it being applied, I could see dead fleas falling off my cats. My cats were scratching for the first few hours, after this product was applied, but I think this has more to do with the fleas, going nuts and thrashing around in the cats fur, before dying, as opposed to the product itself being the source of the discomfort. I watched for any more sinister signs (such as toxicity and or lethargy, but all of my cats (Including my three quite elderly cats) have tolerated this product really well. My only beef about this product (if you can call it that) is the price discrepancy? I have now (after hours of searching on the net) managed to find an (international website) that ships to Australia, where the cost is manageable. With twelve cats, all requiring monthly flea treatment to prevent any further flea infestations, you can only imagine that the cost quickly mounts up. I also have a large dog, and he too requires regular flea treatment to prevent flea infestations. Regardless, as compared to the other spot on product I used that did absolutely nothing (but ended up costing me $99.00 Australian Dollars for one months supply) Advantage for Cats, is a complete Godsend! I know it works and I know it is value for money as well, because I can physically see the dead fleas dropping off of my cats, and at the end of the day, all I want to see is DEAD FLEAS! AKA! The only good flea is a dead flea!
Works fast, fleas falling out of fur within 24 hours
for Cats Purple (Large Cats)First time using this product. I got the 4kg cat amount. Applied it midday, I noticed that the by the evening the fleas were falling out of my cat's fur. He was noticeably irritated and scratching alot a couple of hours after application then became very lethargic. I was suprised by the amount of dead/dieing fleas. Also, product doesnt have a strong smell so my cant didnt panic, usually upon opening other products my cat runs away.

I decided that although I could not see fleas that they still could be the cause, either that, lice, sand flies or ants. I have not used Advantage for about 7 years and could not help but notice that it no longer has the pungent odour, perhaps the ingredient has been changed. My cat never liked it being put on in the past, but reaction was not as desperate as it was this time. I donated the reminder of the packs contents to my local vet to use with pets whose owners are cash strapped. Worked well on one cat, made the other cat sick
for CatsAdvantage made both cats lethargic with no appetite for 2 days. One recovered, the other was sick for 10 days. The vet did blood tests ($300), but no serious toxicity. Unfortunately, we still have fleas!
Loss of hair
for Cats Purple (Large Cats)I have been using this product for years and have just had a bad reaction on one of my Ragdolls, his hair fell out where I put the spot on. It has grown back now but I have a cat with a black spot on the back of his head, where it was white before.
From flea-ridden to flea-free in 36 hours
for CatsI recently adopted a young rescue cat and she had the worst flea infestation I have ever seen - she had anaemia from the amount of blood they were sucking out. Parting her fur, you could see the little blighters running everywhere all over her body. Within 36 hours of applying this product she was flea-free and comfortable. I combed her coat through and the comb was full of dead fleas - desiccated like little dried flowers. The fleas do return towards the end of the four week interval but they die as soon as you re-apply the product.

... Read more recommend this for people who have tried other products such as Frontline, and found their local fleas have evolved a resistance. Frontline is no longer effective in our area and I always had terrible trouble applying it to my boy cat, who really objected to the alcohol smell it has. He doesn't mind the Advantage nearly so much. I would also recommend that right after applying this product, you wash all your pet's bedding and hose any sandy area where they have been sitting: the vet told me the fleas can sometimes jump off the pet once they have been poisoned in order to lay their eggs as they are dying and this can re-infest the pet. Advantage controls fleas - simple to use
for CatsI find Advantage flea control works very well - and for longer than its meant to so I leave it until I find a flea that appears again (as a nurse, I like to use the least amount of medication that proves effective). The spot on application is very easy to use and my cats and dog don't mind it at all. I would recommend it to all cat/dog owners.

for CatsThis is a great product and can be bought at many places although online has been cheaper for me. One of my cats gets extremely agitated with other products I have tried. I have tried shampoos (my cats hate water) flea powders (extreme agitation) and flea collars (rubs the fur off my larger cats neck) However through the summer months my cats tend to rub themselves in sand and in the driveway which causes the product to sometimes wear out before the month is up. Come on cats. Give us a break.

for Cats Purple (Large Cats)I have 2 cats, one of the cats (domestic) is flea treated very easily, the other cat (ragdoll) is extremely long haired and always flea ridden!! I go to the vet and they only sell Advantage. I've tried it on 3 different occasions but I never saw even one adult flea die!. I have no idea why. I have used a flea treatment I bought from coles and I have found that as worked better. I may have to try that now.

for CatsThis flea treatment really does work. It stops the discomfort and takes the annoyance away. It works really well in summer when fleas are at their worst. It is worth the money to treat your cat to a flea free life.
This is a very effective treatment for fleas on cats. The problem is cured within days of putting this on the back of the cats neck. It is worth the money. This is the one my vet recommended.
It is a bit expensive, depending where you buy it from. You can get it online for a discount price. WOuld be good if you could buy a bigger supply.

for CatsMy cat seems to attract fleas no matter what we do and as my mum is advert to using poisons on the cat we've always had to manage them as best we could. Flea baths, flea collars, pills, it was a nightmare to keep on top of them. It's so nice after 7 years to have a product that will keep the itch away, the cat didn't like having it put on her and she was lethargic afterwards but it's a small price to pay for her to be flea-free. Killed fleas very fast, simply to keep up with applications Cat got lethargic and was clearly mad I put the stuff on the back of her neck

I find I never have a flea problem at all whilst using advantage at all. I have been using it for over a year and there appears to be no sign of the product getting weaker or any kind of immunity to it from long term use.
It does get expensive though have three cats a 6 pack will last me two months instead of six, though I would choose it anyday over a cheaper supermarket brand. the cats hate it being applied though and it leaves them and my hands smelling like black texter
