Faulty out of box, approved warranty refund still waiting for refund, rubbish after sales service
Ok where to start, worst buying experience ever. Bought the 90ltr fudge freezer, took it home and plugged it into 240v . More noisey than my 35 yr old Engle (it’s travelled the country and rattles) after 24 hrs it just stops cycling and temp starts to equalise with outside temp. Turned it off and on again same thing happened. I let this go for a week and a half with the same results. Took it back requested a refund not a replacement which they said was recorded on the warranty form. After two days I get a call to say it’s no good but they can’...Read more
t replace it because there is no in the country. I say all good I asked for a refund . Guy says ok it says on the form you want a replacement. He then said no worries accounts will call you within the hour (this is 9:30am) to get you bank details and refund you. After 5 hrs I call them, they say sorry I’ll put you through to accounts- 30 mins on hod and they cut me off. They take my details and say we will refund that now- two days later still no money, I call back and the guy says 7-10 days. Still awaiting, once it hits 10 days which I expect I’m calling the depot fair trading and taking it from there. Beeps and fluctuates between temp!
Fridge fluctuates it temperature - and beeps all the time. I have had it plugged into mains for only two days. Will contact seller to ask some serious questions - was really hoping it would stop beeping!!

Thought it would be great
Mine had problems they did a test and was fine has been dealt with, so hopefully, the refund won't take long. The fridge in size was great and had plenty of room either side, i think if adventure king takes these problems onboard future products will be better and get great reviews

Kings 90 litre 12 volt fridge Faulty out of the Box, terrible warranty service
As with most 4WD Supacentre purchases the 90 litre fridge came with an included cover. And as with most 4WD Supacentre purchases... both items arrived separately. Out of the box and plugged in, the fridge was faulty. One side displayed -12 degrees, the other 33 degrees. A day later and the 33 degree side now said -22 and the other 9 degrees. The power switch did nothing other than beep when pressed. The controls ignored all inputs and the separate sides fluctuated between fridge, pie warmer and freezer at their own whim. anufactured too tight a fit and the zips let go immediately. The fridge is a twin lid but the cover is a single lid, this is poor design. I sent it back for replacement however the warranty process and contact from 4WD Supacentre was so haphazard that I changed my request to refund. Regardless it still took them 3 weeks after receiving the item back to refund my money. Their excuses for the delay included, 'the fridge is with product development??? and 'we are checking if the fridge can be repaired??? Irrelevant excuses to a refund claim for a brand new, unused faulty fridge. I see a chap in Sydney had exactly the same fault with his new fridge, however they voided his claim because he had altered the power lead to a cig plug. I would avoid the kings 90 litre fridge until they sort out the clearly faulty control panel. PhilPurchased in December 2021 at 4WD Supacentre Physical store for A$899.00.

he box. Basic enquiries from your end would have determined that. Then a new one should have been freighted to me at the same time you collected the dud. There is no risk for your big company to simply treat your customers well. Forcing every customer to freight warranty claims back to Queensland regardless is a poor system. My brother bought an annex from your Dandenong store, the stitching unravelled so he took it back and was advised that it had to be freighted under the warranty claim... really??? Treating every claim like we're trying to somehow scam you is poor. What gain would there be in me ruining a brand new fridge that I desperately wanted and immediately wanting it replaced. And what risk to you if I was at fault. Replace the fridge and take the other one back and possibly accept a minor hit to an otherwise incredibly lucrative market you manage. Immediate replacement is a drop in the ocean for your company yet you act as if a single fridge purchase is the make or break deal for your company. Craig from Sydney had exactly the same fault in his 90 litre fridge but you refused his claim because he had changed the cig plug to a more practical anderson plug. Yes, its a technical fault by him, but good will by your company wouldnt cost you your market share, in fact it might even help you. Lighten up and act better for your paying customers. They had onsold my unrepaired faulty fridge as a brand new fridge but neglected to remove my fault card and letter. What scurrilous behaviour by this company. Buyer Beware!
Bought the 90 litre fridge from Kings 4x4 Adventure. Took it on one trip and fridge kept converting from freezer side to fridge then would stop working on freezer side altogether, tried everything to see if I could sort out without pulling apart since it was only a couples of weeks old and this was its first trial. Went to where I purchased it to be told sorry not under warranty because I changed the cig adapter to an Anderson Plug mind you I did all the necessary checks prior to connecting it like continuity, voltage drops and so on. Pretty sure this is just a ploy to not replace or repair, Sorry Kings you have lost me and I thought I was on a good thing!
Purchased in December 2021.

products have been modified unfortunately this does void our warranty. A warranty/card manual is supplied with all our Kings 90L Camping Fridge Freezers, the manual outlines what is and isn't covered under our warranty.This is the response I expected!

Hi Steve it’s faulty, same issue I had, best of luck with the warranty claim, they will mess you around till you start looking at dept of fair trading - have a look at my review, I’m still awaiting refund that they have claimed on two different dates by email days apart that they have transferred the money into my account but like to blame the bank for the delay. Best of luck.
mine didn't do this, but the fridge went minus 6, sent it back ages ago and heard nothing
