Very poor overall moving experience
I contracted Agill Transport for a move of a 1 bedroom apartment from Melbourne to Brisbane after they came up with the cheapest quote for a back load service on Find A Mover website. After paying the deposit to secure the date I wanted to lock in the price, which they wouldn't do. They provided a space calculator spreadsheet that grossly overestimated the cubic metres to move so I decided to go with the initial quote (10 cubic metres). First move they left half of my stuff behind and didn't pack anything although I was quoted for packing 5 ...Read more
boxes. This is apparently what a back load service entails - they can leave half your stuff behind (without any contact) - the only hint that I had that this had happened was when I received an invoice three days later that didn't include the packing. Then to organise to pick up the remainder of my stuff was a nightmare - firstly they charged extra (now 14 cubic meters total), then they didn't arrive on the agreed day (Friday) they only came on the Monday. Then after following up with them a number of times they didn't deliver on the agreed day (that only came a week later). After many follow ups and arguments I ended up paying to exorbitant eventual price (18 cubic metres after initial 10 cubic metre quote) plus extras for packing and loading time just so that I could get my stuff delivered. The packing was pitiful, things were broken, liquid spilt and items missing. All in all 5 weeks of pain and expense for a move that should have taken less than a week - they have no idea.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Delivery after ransom
Agill quoted me for 75m3 for interstate removal.
They then charged for extra 6m3 and would not deliver my goods until I paid extra invoice.
The truck only measured 2.4x3.2x8.2 = 63m3 at a MAXIMUM. And it was not packed full...
They will ignore your calls once the sale is made.
Plenty of damage from poor packing too.
They run a sham business. My strong recommendation is: Steer clear!
