Are you still stocking Jindurra eye fillet? I have not been able to get any I have tried now for 4 weeks. Just get told they either get delivered early in the morning or did not get any stock in. Can you please clarify what is happening, is there a shortage? Thank you look forward to your reply.

Jindurra does not exist.
Aldi just name it that name - they claim the meat is Australian, but will not tell anyone where it comes from in Australia.
Search Aldi Jindurra on Google - plenty of Q's, especially on FB ;)

Most times it is available, not always at $19.99, but it is still great value.

Heat your pan until it's smoking. Then add olive oil. 2mins on one side and 2mins on the other. 2 mins in the oven and bring out and rest for 3 mins. This all depends on the thicness of the slices. Also remove tendon.

Yes, the fillet steak is currently available at $25.00kg for the whole eye fillet.
We normally stir fry the smaller thinner end and stuff and bake the rest of it or we slice it into steaks bbq or fry.

I have just discovered an eye fillet of yours with a use by date of 9.01.20, in the fridge. Today is 27.01.20. It is still in its sealed pack unopened. I bought at Aldi before Xmas for $25. Would it still be OK to eat?
Would appreciate your response.
With thanks

I'm a butcher of 40 years, yes it will be ok as long as t the seal hasn't been broken.
If it looks good, smells good then it's good.
