Great mid-level PC gaming machine
This is the first gaming laptop that i ever have, good speed at 10th i7 mid level entry for gaming.
The fan turn a bit noisy when start running the game at initial stage.
It will be great if it does have a full size keyboard otherwise so good so far.

Great Gaming Laptop!
I have used this laptop for a week now and so far so good. I have bought it to play Far Cry Primal and it is running at 90-100 fps. I like the performance and the light strip, fans ramp up when needed and may get noisy.

Almost Perfect - Totally Recommend
I have been using my Asus Laptop now for about 10 days for gaming playing CoD Warzone and it runs pretty smooth even on High graphic textures. Compared to my previous MSI laptop, the Audio is much better, not as loud and their liquid metal cooling really keeps it with low temperature. Also, Asus softwares are more intuitive. What looks faulty to me is a massive light leaking from the bottom corners of the screen. When you have a loading screen you can notice it easily and bothers me. Another thing I would improve is the case from the screen that is a bit fragile and if you try to open it from the corner you can perhaps damage the plastic frame. It could come with a Card Reader also as a plus. Besides the issues I totally recommend it.

Zero regrets
I bought this laptop to replace one that I've used for uni, work (lots of simulations and design drawings), and some basic gaming/lots of binge-watching shows, and I have zero regrets. Although chunkier and heavier than I'm used to, the laptop is quite nice (especially the RGB elements) and feels super sturdy. Start-up is pretty seamless and all my applications for both work and fun run so smoothly on it. I do wish it had a touch screen function and a webcam, but I can live without that/buy one, and overall I'm super satisfied with the laptop.
... Read moreI love having the option to have up to three SSDs as well, although the existing memory capability is decent enough on its own so I probably won't even need it, but it's definitely a nice-to-have. I'm excited to see how it goes over the long run, but so far, I'm very happy and have no regrets about the purchase!Author stated being incentivised for this review
Best power and look at decent price
Purchased after comparison with Dell G5 and G7. review is based on only 5 days of use. Stunning looks with the Rog Logo and RGB keyboard lights. It would be better if the logo could be lighted as well. When comes to performance, happy with the processing power and GPU and the 240HZ screen. another cool feature is the third SSD slot if need to upgrade. All of this comes in a decent price. Another outstanding feature is Wi-Fi 6.Didnt attempted any gaming as the main use will be for casual editing and this does that job. Still waiting to dig in to

Final word: good decision if you are looking for a power packed laptop and do not want to spend much.Author stated being incentivised for this review

Great for both gaming and edit video.
At the end of last year, my laptop was stolen.
Since then, I have always wanted to find a less expensive laptop with the same specifications. Due to the special price on Boxing Day, I considered for two days and finally decided to buy this laptop.
After a few days of use, the game performance and file processing are very smooth. I am very satisfied with this laptop
For me, I am used to using the numeric keypad and want to install HDD, but this laptop can't do that, maybe this is a small disadvantage.

Great for both gaming and media use
bought this laptop to replace my 8 year old laptop, it was a huge jump from intel 3 to intel 7 on this computer, very smooth and efficent in web surfing and gaming. I would however enjoy it more if there is at least one usb port on the right hand side which will be handy, there is also quite a lot of background RAM usage to begin with without anything opened (close to 6 gbs as a brand new without any other installation). Really enjoy the quality of the monitor, very clear and colourful.

Solid laptop so far
I bought this laptop from JB HI-FI after reviewing many different laptops between $1.5k and $2k price range. It was a toss up between this and the Lenovo Y540 for me. The build quality of this laptop is very good and it looks very pretty with the RGB lighting. Big drawbacks for me were the lack of numberpad and the lack of webcam, however the CPU and GPU combination for the price is pretty good value.

Great product
Bought this just before Christmas 2020 for my daughter. Nice graphics, super fast processor. Nice design. Daughter loves the keyboard and case lights. Could do with a camera and fans could be quieter

Really good laptop for Gaming so-so for school
I have had this laptop for a few days and I am really liking it, it runs anything I throw at it really well. The deal from JB HI-FI was amazing for the spec this laptop offers. The only real downside to this laptop is that its not a great schools computer due to its size and the battery not lasting super long. However if you are planing on not moving it as much then it will work great for you.
TL;DR: Buy for gaming
