I had a good look around at Rangehoods on the web and then went to several retail outlets. The difference in priceing was amazing. When I compared the stainless steel gauge,motors,fan noise (decibels) etc. I couldn't see Thousands of dollars difference in the product. Provided you buy the unit that most suits, is visually appealing to you and has the correct specifications, don't worry if it is not a brand name. and only a couple of desibels louder. Side by side you would hardly notice. I would rather the extra $2500 in my pocket rather than splitting hairs? The people I dealt with on the phone gave me no nonsence objective imformation from there product knowlege without any pressure to purchase. My unit arrived on time in good condition.
