I had a similar issue with this card. I tried to buy via eftpos at a shop with my savings in this card, and could not rectify the issue.

When I contacted load and go, to help me to get into my online Australia post load and go account they wanted me to give them a photo of my medicare card and drivers licence detalis online. I felt that doing this online may be unsafe, due to the possibility of I.D theft

Also, when I had money stolen out of my Australia post load and go account, when I complained to the Australia post staff, they would not even investigate it, or follow it up. The fees for load and go are very expensive. I think that you are better of using a special fee free or low fee bank account for online purposes, to get better customer service and lower fees.

Hi there,

Have you been able to make the purchase since? I am sorry for the error but I recommend checking if the seller accepts the type of card you're using, if so then please reach out to the support team their number is on your card.

I strongly recommend deleting your comment as it contains card details, this is a public forum. I have reported your comment to Product Review to remove as well. I'm afraid I don't have access to the systems to assist you, our support team only has access to these systems. I'm very sorry.

Hi Natasha, Perhaps ring the Australia post load and go area to them to ask them the answer. You need to register your card online at the Australia post online site. It is also possible the money not appearing might have been stolen from your childs card. Take care.

I don't know why and I don't know how, but somehow the situation has righted itself. I think that perhaps all 3 ATMS had been affected by a brown out that apparently occurred shortly before I tried to use them. Anyway, problem solved.

How do I link my load and go card to my bank card??

1 answer
Australia Post
Priscila L.Australia Post

Hi Natalie,

Happy to help! Are you wanting to transfer money from your bank account to your Load and Go card? Here is how to do this

Load money directly from your bank account via Internet banking using the 'Pay Anyone' details printed on the back of your Load&Go card. How soon your funds are transferred depends on your bank (minimum 2 business days), and there may be transfer fees from your bank – just check.

Select a new 'Funds Transfer' from your internet banking account
Enter the recipient - BSB: 880 100
Enter the recipient account number. Use the 9 digit account number (Acc No) located on the back of your card
If a recipient account name is required, use 'Load and Go'
