I wrote a formal complaint (I have not heard back?) after reading the ingredients to find this formula uses palm oil? Am I correct? As when I googled it it stated the ingredient is in fact palm oil. Why would anyone use palm oil in a baby formula. No human body can breakdown palm oil so why on earth use it in a baby formula. I was very disappointed as I already fed my baby the whole tin.

Hi Tiffany, our Careline team did reply to your email, however we will resend the message to your direct email address. If you do not receive reply today, please check your junk email folder just in case the email got delivered there instead of your inbox.

Palm Olein oil is used widely as an ingredient in infant formula both in Australia and also around the world. Australia’s Own Diamond pro+ uses only the highest quality ingredients, all of which are approved for use by Food Standards Australian and New Zealand for use in infant formulations. More information will be provided to you via email.

Hi, can I check if its normal to have alot of milk particles after mixing? I realise that it doesn't dissolve well like other brands. After drinking, the whole bottle is left full of undissolved dots of powder.

Hi Nat,

Sorry to hear about your experience as this is not a common concern for our Diamond pro+ Premium Early Life Nutrition Range.

For best mixing results, we recommend using lukewarm (previously boiled) water to aid dissolving the formula more easily. Once you cap the bottle, mix thoroughly by shaking gently or swirling the bottle to dissolve the formula (30-45 seconds). There also needs to be enough headroom in the bottle, otherwise the formula won’t mix properly.

If you require further assistant, please contact our Careline team directly on 1800 646 231 and one of our infant specialists will be happy to assist you further.

We hope this helps, Diamond pro+ Careline team
