Incredibly disorganised. I was the second person to arrive at the clinic for the day, the person to arrive before me headed in and I was asked to sit in a chair near the door as I was next, which I did for half an hour. The pathology collector finished with the first patient and then asked another person who had arrived well after me to go on through. When I mentioned that she had asked me to wait and I would be next she dismissed me and asked that I wait until I was called. the line. As I have regular fasting bloods I have always done this. Unfortunately I was unable to get my bloods done as I really did not have time to wait indefinitely until I was personally selected by the pathology collector as I had to go to work. Dinosaur result delivery
Phlebotomist is great hence three stars. My beef is with the antiquated result delivery to patient. Electronically supplied to the doctor but snail mail to patient. In this era surely email or SMS result delivery to patient is not too much to expect. Patient confidentiality is no excuse as snail mail can inadvertently be sent to the wrong person. Modernise!

Rude accounts receivable team (WA)
Paid an outstanding bill back in February 2020 and the debt collector started coming after me in March and April. I called the Accounts Receivable number and the lady on the phone was extremely rude. I called to inquire about the account and mentioned I had a receipt number. She scoffed and asked what I was inquiring if I had a receipt number, to which I replied “exactly, if I have a receipt why is the debt collector calling me?” She said account was closed and maybe was due to a timing issue. Two months is not a ‘timing issue’, it is bad bookkeeping.

Worst customer service
Screw the customer service. Rude to hell. Avoid them at all cost. Some lady shouted me over the phone to asks me to pay the remaining amount, why would they even hire someone like this to work for them. Shame.

Excellent, I never have any bruising with Victoria at Moana
My doctor recommends Victoria at the Moana Clinic, as I have very deep veins. I have trouble giving blood, but Victoria just does with ease, and sometimes will not have any bruising.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else
Nicole has taken my blood for years even when others couldn’t, she is so good and gentle I never get a bruise. She’s always helpful with any questions. Thank you.

Extremely unprofessional and pathetic
I had several tests last year, and our doctor has confirmed those referrals were bulk bill. After few months, we received text messages from debt collector for unpaid bills. The text said we have to pay for some test. Even on the day of test lab technician checked and she confirmed it is bulk billed, even after that we got debt collector message.

Very impressed!
On the 26th March I had a blood test at Stirling Hospital. It is the first time ever that a nurse has taken my blood using a smaller needle after telling her beforehand that I bruise easily. I have not bruised from this blood test!

Appalling service
I’m a doctor and just got the most sarcastic, rude and inefficient bullying specimen reception staff ever. Asks me to speak slowly when I’m going at glacial pace, I try to slow down and even reduce to one letter at a time as she isn’t coping and she barks at me to calm down. Confused. Extremely unprofessional customer service!
My wife and I had several tests last year, and our doctor has confirmed those referrals were bulk bill. She shouted over me to make me listen to her, but the response was “I can’t give you more details, what do you want?” She keep saying that they posted several letters of the invoice, but I just want to know why this single invoice was not bulked as other three? Tried to ring collection centre for information. Rang several times. Nobody is picking up the phone. No ring back or answering service, just strange alien noises in the line. Rang general info number. Person on the other end very unprofessional and not helpful. Overall very unprofessional.

My mum goes to the one at Stirk Medical in Kalamunda. At times a little busy but the staff are great and my mum never has any bruising. We also use the clinic in Mundaring and the staff are good there too.

Crap.
The one in Kalamunda, Elizabeth Street.
Closed during business hours so I had to wait longer than I should have only to be turned away because I had been fasting too long. If they weren't closed at 10 am maybe I wouldn't have been fasting for too long. They also could have done all the other tests as they didn't require me to fast but no, still turned away.
No one at the front desk for a long time, seems like almost no one is working there.

Pathological Blood Test Results!
Mediocre and exceptionally poor service from Clinical Labs, after the acquisition from SJOG Pathology by CCP- (Crescent Capital Partners). Sending out copies of Pathology Tests Results is awfully slow despite written instructions on 'Pathology Request Form' by the Medical Oncologist requesting "COPY TO PATIENT". Blood Test done on December 12 for FBP (Full Blood Picture) U & E; LFT (liver function Test). Felt butchered after a blood test
I’m heavily pregnant and went in for a blood test. The woman would barely speak to me, if she did she was blunt. I advised her I was a little emotional and didn’t like blood tests much (who does) whilst closing my eyes I thought I could feel multiple (4 at least) attempts and told myself off for being a sook. It got so painful I asked her in the end “is it out yet”. Still barely speaking to me she sat at the desk and I had to ask if there was anything I needed to do or if I could go. I couldnt even gently tap where the test had been done and it hurt to drive home which has never happened before. Upon checking at home later I find there is a huge bruised area which I’ve never had before and I couldn’t use my arm all day. The day after it is black and swollen. This woman should not be taking blood especially people with a fear of needles. I understand she does them all day every day. But a little care wouldn’t go a stray.1 comment

Extremely rude staff at MacArthur Square
One of the staff members at the MacArthur Square branch was extremely rude and unprofessional. She was so intimidating I was in tears, never going back there again. The first 2 times when I had her, she seemed grumpy. I didn’t care too much At the time but the 3rd time she seemed really agitated. Whatever annoyed her that day she took it out on me which is unfair and unprofessional! What a bully!

Always lovely friendly people
Everyone is lovely and friendly at Christies Beach Lab and when taking blood it doesnt hurt at all .They are so professional and caring .Would always choose to go back there and would recommend them to anyone

Brilliant
Went to Australind Centre and my phlebotomists name was Mel, I am a nervous patient and she was kind and compassionate and I DID NOT FEEL A THING!!!!! The whole experience was exceptional from being prompt when the bell rung to giving me after care instructions.
