we were looking for the company to install solar batteries. I've received three quotes and one phone call during working hours. Two of the quotes were lower that I've found by myself. One was lit bit higher.

I was referred to 3 suppliers through Australian Solar Quotes. All of the suppliers had much, much better reviews on the Solar Quotes website than they did on independent websites like Product Review. All of the suppliers referred to me seemed very sales oriented and very pushy, eg. we can do you a special deal if you sign right now. Their prices were all uncompetitive too. Makes me think that Solar Quotes massages the reviews of its suppliers in order to try and drive sales (and hence commissions). Stick to getting your own quotes from reputable suppliers such as CSR Bradford or Vic Solar.

I am quite happy with different quotes I received enabling me to select best option and deal that suited my needs, thanks Australian Solar Quotes.

Very helpful in locating the best quote for the solar system I wanted installed.
Found some solar distributors pushy in trying to get the ball rolling before I had made a decision about their product.
The company that installed my solar system were very helpful but before installing the inverter did not mention to me that it was only Wi Fi and not digital. I was able to program my phone but will have to consult a IT person to program my lap top.This is an extra expense I was not aware or informed of.
The system seems to be working ok 5Kw inverter with 24 panels.

Saved me from ending up with inferior panels. Over a 6 month process they reviewed for free each system I looked at. In the end I got the best system possible for my $8,000 budget. 4kw of Canadian Solar Panels with Enphase Micro Inverters.

Very informative and helped me decipher the solar speak so that I could make an informed decision on what system I required for my house.

The quotes won't come if you only supply your email, if you supply your phone number you will be bombarded with calls from (in my case) a dozen different companies.
More than one of the companies directors told me that their expensive product was the only one to buy, don't buy cheaper. Too aggressive.

I find this very amusing that I have been asked to write a review for Australian Solar Quotes. The reason for this is because I made my first inquiry with them over 12 months ago and did not here a thing back until I received an email asking me to do a review. So here is my review; A complete waist of time and effort.

The approach from ASQ was helpful and encouraging, however we were not contacted by any contractors, possibly because they considered our location problematic.

It was good to get several responses from installers. I choose an installer that helped understand my requirements and define a suitable system.

Basically no complaints. I was contacted by three local installers of solar systems. I only proceeded to get two quotes. Both companies were informative and good to deal with. We chose one on grounds of cost and quality of the product and were happy with the result, confident that the quote was competitive.

Only received 1 quote! Supplier knew his stuff, but I was not confident of the quality of the materials. Some of the spam I received after had useful info, but not requested!

Had 2 quotes, one Melbourne and Brisbane. I am in Gippsland, Sale. Brisbane could hardly understand him. And was bombarded with emails and texts. Cheap product by the sound of it and have since found two solar companies in this area

Was told I would get 3 quotes. Instead I got about 6 or 7 companies calling me, some several weeks after I'd asked for quotes. Several of them were really pushy and I can't get my details off their mailing lists now. I've got my solar installed, and one company called me 5 times in one day even after I'd told them by email that I'd already signed a deal before they'd sent me the quote.

Got only 1 quote and they use contact detail for the advertisement. Very annoying to cancel advertisement which you never sign for.

I didn't get 1 quote from them I was just bombarded with SPAM telling me how good they were ! not happy [name removed] !

Contacted by phone, but two wanted to make time for in home interviews for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs I want to get a price range, before making any further move One gave me a price range The others lost me.
