Can you use the duo 2 with only one seat for air travel?

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Joanna,

The Duo2 is too large to be taken on board for carry on, but if you are able to purchase a travel bag you can check the pram in! Please note that our Duo2 is not designed for air travel so any damage sustained on a flight is not covered under our warranty policy and we do not make a travel bag for the Duo range.

Kind regards,
Jess

I have just purchased a second hand duo 2, I did not notice at pick up but when I’ve used it for the first time one of the rear wheels came off while pushing. I have tried to get it back in but seems the clip is not coming all the way only when wheel is in - or wheel won’t go in far enough. What do I do to fix it? The other side is fine, I can’t see anything preventing it going in properly.
Thanks

Hello, my capsule adapter is stuck in the capsule!! It’s meaning I can’t use capsule in car.. I promise I purchased the matching adapter (maxi Cosi capsule) …

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Andie,

I am sorry to hear you are having an issue with your capsule adaptors! There are buttons that are a bit hidden in the fabric of the capsule on either side by the capsule handle. Those are the buttons to release the capsule from the adaptors.

If you need any more help please reach out to the Customer Service team on [email protected]

Natasha

I have quite a tall two-year-old that will use the seat. Will she fit comfortably without the hood touching her head? This feels like the right pram for the arrival of our second baby but would have loved to sit my toddler in it first, before buying.

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Lucy,

Thank you for your question :)

The seat back height is 53cm. There is also a few extra centimetres under the seat canopy.

I recommend you check out the DUO2 on our YouTube channel. I have attached the link below. These videos really allow you to get a feel for the pram.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us on [email protected]

Hi I have duo 2 and double adapatora and the capsule adaptors
I have a hour gemm capsule. However when going to slide capsule onto pram in any configuration it seems the pram is too wide and therefore can not fit the capsule onto pram.

Could you please send some photos of how you have your adaptors set up to [email protected] so we can confirm if this has been set up correctly and can further assist with this for you.

Hi there just wondering if the seats are deep? My current pram does not have deep seats and I find it not comfortable or supportive for my son, especially when he was learning to sit up.

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Pamela,

Thanks for getting in touch!

Our DUO2 seats are 22cm deep. It might be worth measuring this against your current seat to compare.

We also have a great free 9 month return policy so if you do decide to purchase the DUO2 you can try it in your home and if it isn't a great fit you can send it back for free. You can see all the details here - https://babybeeonline.com/pages/returns

Hi, does the Duo2 bassinet fold flat for easy storage? Thanks

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Carmen,

Thank you for your question.

The DUO2 bassinet cannot fold flat but it will lay flat.

Store the pram in a dry, well ventilated place.

Cheyenne.

How does this handle off road?

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Taylor,

Our prams have been designed for "urban living" so footpaths, shops and local parks are ideal surfaces. When it comes to off-road and uneven terrain they can definitely handle it, they just won't feel as comfy for you or bub as a 3 wheeled jogging stroller would with much larger wheels.

It's really the front swivel wheels that become the issue rather than the rear when you take a pram off road. And the same is true for all strollers with smaller front swivel wheels less than 17cm diameter (our DUO with front wheels of 23cm performs the best of our 3).

Our new Aeroglide wheels are made from a high-grade PU rubber that offers some of the cushioning that air tires do but without the maintenance and punctures. They're also resistant to fine gravel and small stones so they'll stay looking newer for longer and won't wear out anywhere near as fast as traditional EVA wheels.

I hope that's answered your question if you need anything else please don't hesitate to ask, we're here to help!

Kindest,
Cheyenne :)

Hi, wife and I live in NZ and are expecting our 1st child. Keen to take child on strolls in parks and do light trekking in gravel dusty roads [ not muddy]. We're looking for a stroller that does that and also urban living terrains. Will this fit our requirement?

Hi! Is the Maxi Cosi Mico 12 compatible with the Duo2, or will it be in the near future?

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch!

At this stage our adaptors are not compatible with the Maxi Cosi Mico12 capsule.

In saying that we have had feedback that there has been compatibility issues across a number of brands so Maxi Cosi may look at re-developing their connections to increase its compatibility.

You can check out the other capsules compatible with our DUO2 here:

Hi there, how does the babybee duo2 handle going over road curbs with two kids in it?

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Akaysha,

Thanks for your question!

Our DUO2 is designed to handle foot paths, roads and curbs with ease and can even handle some grass or gravel.

Something to keep in mind is that once you have a child in the front seat it will make the front heavier than a single pram and it won't pop up curbs as a single would so you will need to use the little curb ramps at cross roads etc.

If you have any other questions please get in touch.

Cheers,
Shannon

Hello! I am from Montreal Canada and I am very interested in the Duo2! I am currently pregnant with my first!
I just have a question about how the stroller does in Canadian winters, more specifically snow?
I don’t plan on taking constant long and strenuous walks in the snow with the stroller, but maybe from a parking lot to inside or a little walk around the block.
How would the tires react to this type of activity?
This is the only question I have, preventing me from buying it right now.

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Isabella!

Thanks for getting in touch.

Our prams have been designed for "urban living" so footpaths, shops and local parks are ideal surfaces. When it comes to off-road and uneven terrain they can definitely handle it, some snow on foot paths etc won't be an issue, but if you are wanting to be walking more substantial amounts of snow you will need a 3 wheeled jogging stroller would with much larger wheels.

I hope that's answered your question if you need anything else please don't hesitate to ask, we're here to help!

How does this pram handle lots of city walks? I don't drive and live in the inner city and walk absolutely everywhere. Can this pram handle up and down curbs, cobble streets, gravel walks etc? (and I mean A LOT of walks). Thank you

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Michelle,

Thanks for getting in touch

Our prams have been designed for "urban living" so footpaths, city walks, shops and local parks are ideal surfaces. You should have no issues with walks on any of the surfaces you've mentioned.

We want our prams to be able to be well used and loved by our Babybee families so cover you with a 3 year warranty.

I live in Canada on a gravel road and I was wondering if It is possible to purchase the foam filled rubber wheels for better traction and better suspension. We are shopping for a stroller at the moment and this is our first child so we want something that will last over the years and for our second child.

And I don't seem to be able to find much information on the suspension of the whole stroller. Can you give me more links please? Thanks a lot

Looking at purchasing this as I have an 18 month old and looking at having another baby within the next year so want to get a double pram as I have a small stroller my daughter is too big for. With the bassinet on single mode are you still able to use a toddler board if needed? Will be wanting to use a toddler board most the time but want the option to put another seat on if she wants to sit down or rest

Hi, would a newborn and 3 year old fit comfortably?

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Ann,

Thanks for getting in touch!

Our DUO2 can be used from newborn right up to 20kg which is the size of an average 4 year old. I have a tall 3.5 year old who still fits into the seat not a problem.

The canopy of the seat can be moved up the frame to allow for more head room underneath once your child gets a bit older.

Cheers,
Shannon
