Surprisingly excellent! Great sound quality if you take the time to get a proper fit.
Excellent build quality. Doesn't feel cheap like some of the budget Bluetooth earphones I've owned. The cords for the buds are flat, which means they never tangle, and the neckband is thin and flexible, but firm. It's all this soft touch matte plastic and rubber that feels really nice. I opted for the blue color and it's really nice. It's kind of a royal blue that's it crazy bright. The two little lumps on the cord where the electronics and batteries are housed look weird at first, but it's a great way to balance things out while making the who...Read more
le package super slim. There's also a magnet in the bids so they sort of click together around your neck when you take them out. Keeps them out of the way. I kind of always have them on because that's so convenient. Quality, quality build. These are not the Beats of old. This feels more like an apple designed product.Similar opinion? Wear reverse while working out
I love these earbuds...i workout, run, bike with these...for everyone having issues with these while working out (flat bench press) falling out, I've found that wearing them reverse and crossing them eliminates this issue. They are excellent at noise reduction, 5 minutes charge is amazing, super comfortable, only down fall is I don't think they get loud enough to blow my ear drums but I can live with that

Easily one of my most favourite purchases ever. The quality is unbeatable!
There's no substitute for crappy quality. These BeatsX are the best wireless headphones I've ever used. Super fast to charge, last for so long! Really simple to use. The range is quite large too if you are away from your phone. You can even use with apple watch which I love!

Broke only after 3 months
I first noticed the difference between the quality of the sound I hear. Then upon investigation, I saw that gluey substance from the inside of the earpiece was coming out, only from one earpiece though, the other one was fine. But it stopped working.
The fit was not good too.

poor fitting, very uncomfortable.
Cons: Quite possibly the worst headphones I have ever purchased. Terrible fit, they just fall out even when walking casually. I put the ear hooks on for running which helps but causes the earphone to smash right against the tragus and antitragus which after about 20 minutes of wearing, causes them to be unbearably painful.
Pros: sound is ok & they're wireless.
TLDR: Horrible and painful to wear. I literally hate them.

Poor replacement programme.
The sound and battery life however it doesn’t turn on anymore. Officeworks Elizabeth st Melbourne cbd tol me that they have to send to apple for inspection. The guys there suggested go to apple store and they will replace it. Came to chadstone store as they don’t have any stores in Melbourne cbd area. Travelling 2.5 hours. The staff was so helpful as always said can’t do replacement their Genuis bar have to worship the headphone or something. Better luck next time .
I then called apple customer they wasted another 20 mins and told me that Y...Read more

Poor performance
This item is a great idea but requires a few improvements, the item synced really well with all my Bluetooth items (iphone, computer, ipod), its neck strap is comfortable. The controls are now located on the left compared to apples right (not a deal breaker).
However, I mostly disappointed on the sound quality, given how popular beats have been with their other products I was expecting something good if not, at least half decent. The sound was dismal with a very tinny sound and minimal base came through, there was really no depth to the soun...Read more

Best present idea!
I got gifted these headphones and I love them. They're super easy to use, stay in your ears while working out, you can control volume and song change through them, and they sit behind your head so they are never in the way. I do think the volume could be a little better but I just like my gym music to be loud. Awesome little earphones though! Worth the price!

Absolutely love my Beats X!
Had these for 6 months and love the simple but effective magnet system in them. It keeps them around my neck and I never loose them. The cord is made of a material that doesn't tangle and is supple enough to handle and hold. It is worth changing the ear plug fittings to suit your ear type, but it is very easy to maintain and clean.

Love how it’s wireless
I purchased the gold wireless beats, I love how sleek the design is and when you connect it for a first time it’s amazing, I love how it shows the battery percentage on the device connected so you know how battery is left, I like how it’s wireless so no cords getting tangled up and I can play my music in my headphones but have my iPad in my bag, I love the charge time you charge for 6 mins and it gives you 2 hours play back which is amazing, full charge for 8 hour use is 2 hours,

Better than apple!
I purchased these for my partner for Christmas 2017.
I was kind of sceptical at 1st that an in ear option would be better than over ear. With lots of research and testing so so many products in store I made the choice to go with the BeatsX.
My partner absolutely loves them! He says the noice cancellation is great- far better than he’s predecessor Panasonic overheads and is a big fan of the fast charge.
They are very easy to sync with multiple phones via Bluetooth and are overall a top product with amazing sound quality! He listens to mainly dance music and says the quality of the bass and sound is far better than he’s ever had with in ear headphones. Definitely would rate this product.

Okay bluetooth headphones
Pros: lightweight, sound is ok, powered by Lightning cable (handy if you are an iPhone user)
Cons: power button is small and hard to use, controls are on left not right (Apple headphones are on right), indicator sound plays when you connect and not when you turn on (would be more handy if it sounds when the unit turns on, especially because power button is hard to press), iOS 11 doesn't show battery levels (seems like known bug)
Overall I'm satisfied

Early wear not happy
I purchased a pair of beats dr dre headphones for almost $400 just over two years ago. When I returned them to apple to have them looked at they said it was standard wear. The ear pieces cushion component tatted peel and I was left with black flakes all over me. Very disappointed.

Good concept, average sound.
Love the concept of these, and they are good for people who have an iPhone 7 and above because you can listen to music and charge your phone at the same time. However, the sound quality isn’t as great as what it should be for the price. I prefer my Apple earphones that come with the phone.

Solid unit but pricey
Got these as well as a set of Gripped over ears and I must say they feel quite nice and delivery good sound but I can never get over the price of all beats products.
They capitalise off their name quite well but the product never matches the price tag.

Good Sound, average fit
I have been looking for a pair of bluetooth earphones for a while, and I would have chosen the Sennheiser but their price wasn't in my budget (I normally buy SH).
The sound on the BeatsX are very good, but the fit is pretty and design is poor.
I tried all the buds and decided on the ones that are fitted when it comes new. I tried the additional lock in support, but took them off as they kept slipping out of my ear and providing no additional hold.
Due to the weight of the volume/microphone on the left cable, it slaps you in the mouth ...Read more
when running and also comes loose after about 30sec-1min of running, I am constantly having to push the left bud back into my ear. I have tried every way of twisting the cables etc to stop it doing this. And using these while sprinting is laughable - the whole lot jolts around your neck and pulls the earphones out of your ears.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Perfect for all walks of life
These are the best earphones I've ever owned. Light and durable in design, and easy to use.
The fit is amazing and adjustable with the different size earbuds. The weights on the sides limits the amount of movement and locks them around your neck without any discomfort.
Easy to connect with Bluetooth. Lasts for around 6hrs on full charge, where it claims to be 8hrs, but I've only reached 6hrs. But the 20min quick charge to give you 2 hrs is perfect.
Sound quality is amazing, great bass, and clear and crisp sounds.
I've only had an issue with the battery failing after 9mths of having it, so lucky Apple were able to replace the unit. Apart from that, it has served me well through my gym sessions and travels.

Is it with bass? I bought one and returned because I could not feel the bass at all or my one is faulty?
1 answer
I have the same problem. Beats have a reputation for going overboard with the bass, these seem to be the opposite! Very bright and incredibly fatiguing.
Running through the spectrum there is artificial boosting evident around 700-1400Hz, 5000-8000Hz, and 11,000-12,000Hz. The part I don't understand is response tapers off under 400Hz with almost nothing below 80Hz.
Weird. In summary cheap sound with some boosting to give it the impression of sounding crisp and clear.
I will be returning and buying the Bose Soundsport.

Is this product good for gym workouts ?

I haven't used it in the gym but I imagine it would be fine.
Good on gym, but the bass is flat. Do you feel the bass? Or I got a faulty one.
