Love this BBQ!
Bought this BBQ a couple of months ago and its been really easy to set up and use. We use it every couple of weeks and can cook a variety of different things on it ranging from vegetarian food like mushrooms, corn, and peppers to meats like steaks, sausages and skewers.
It's relatively easy to clean and easily fed a part of 30 people with a few rounds of cooking. It's more useful for people who have a larger family or enjoy entertaining, and you also need to have a decent amount of space to house the thing.
We placed it in our shed as we have quite a big backyard. If you're a casual BBQer this might not be for you as it is pricer and is not very portable.
Summary:

* Simple to clean with easy to disassemble parts * Great for big parties or small dinners * Powerful burners for the price range
Purchased in January 2021 at Barbeques Galore for $549.00.

Brilliant Barbecue - Great Cooking and Easy to Clean
I bought this barbecue with the rotisserie accessory and natural gas conversion kit over 5 years ago, and I am very impressed with its cooking performance, perfect operating reliability and its easy care!
After a change of house, I have since purchased the stainless steel trolley unit to suit, which fitted the burner unit perfectly, and is now easily moved as required.
I have used it to cook a variety of meals from simple family barbecues on the hot plate and grill, through to large roast dinners, using the rotisserie and hood.
In fact, we c...Read more

Worst BBQ in the world
Seriously, i have had about 8 BBQs in my lifetime and this one is by far the worst.
I had to replace the grill after 1st use because the flare up makes it unusable.
Uneven heat - some parts dont even get warm while others cook your food to a crisp.
The flame often jumps behind the burners to where the jet is and the control knob becomes so hot it will take the skin off your fingers if you dont use a hot mitt.
When i purchased i was hoping all the other reviews where wrong...i should have listened.
I never post reviews normally but feel compelled to warn off any innocent potential purchaser. Do not buy a Beefeater BBQ.Please.

Absolutely pathetic- product and customer service
We purchased the Beef Eater Signature s3000s BBQ in April 2016, we had nothing but problems with this useless BBQ. Flare ups, excessive smoking and extremely uneven cooking.. Total waste of money and their after sales customer service is absolutely pathetic.
Strongly recommend to look at other brands of BBQ's rather than this very expensive and under performing product.

Smokey BBQ
Have recently purchased BBQ and is okay, however the design of the grill collects the oil and fat. When cooking multiple steaks, significant smoke comes off the grill to the point where people have to vacate a large open pergola area. I'll be looking around for a better design of grill to interchange. I've followed instructions for cleaning etc, to no avail. Previous cheap K-mart BBQ never had a problem.

Waste of money
I have had my beefeater almost 3 years. It is the most uneven cooking grill I have ever used. I can put my hand on the first 6" of the grill when it is on low. The least wind toward the front blows the burners out. Turn on all burners and the rightmost one goes out. Paid over $1300. My old $300 grill cooks much better. Paint on high/low indicators are worn off. I would strongly discourage anyone thinking of getting one.

Dreadful Barbecue
I recently stayed at the Lake Crackenback Resort in a chalet equipped with a Beefeater barbecue and I have to admit this is the first barbecue I have ever come across that actually destroys a good piece of meat. The unit appears to work alright in that the burners all ignite, but the spread of flame throughout the burners is extremely poor and insufficient heat is generated to cook a good piece of meat acceptably....it just sits on the grille and doesn't cook, or catches fire. The unit seemed to be kept in good condition and did not look to hav...Read more
e any abuse or 'wear and tear' faults but all of us agreed this barbecue takes ages to cook and does nothing other than turn good quality fillet steak into tough indigestible fare. My cheap old 1994 hooded Companion barbecue absolutely outshines this Beefeater unit in every way. Do yourself a favour and steer well clear of this manufacturer if you want to end up with well cooked meat. Large control knobs bad design, uneven heat.Similar opinion? disapointed
My friends tell me i am an exceptional cook, i have alwayse had pride in my coooking and BBQ a lot, i purchased a beefeate bbq based on ther reputation and have been highly disapointed! At first eveything burned due to excessive flare ups so i contacted Beefeater and sought advice. There customer service leaves a lot ot be desired, so i sought remedies for my self, after checking that the install was exactilly as recommended. I have tried adding volcanic rock above the supplied flame tamers and various other methods wich have reduced the flare ...Read more
ups considerably however i am now stuck with a bbq that is extreemly hot on some sections of the plate and almost cold on others. I have given up! For the past 10yrs i have owned a hooded 5 burner Jacaroo brand bbq found commonly in the past at -Mart.I would swap back to the -Mart branded Jackaroo in a flash, the last one i puchased cost about $500 lasted 7 yrs and cooke perfectly each time. My new, well 1yr old beefeater may last a lot longer however it is not used much because it is so inconsistant with the results. I would be glad to talk to any one with simmilar experience especially if you have found a way to make it work better Unfortunately i cant give you my details however you may offer advice by reviewing this poduct yourself its life expectancy A lotSimilar opinion? Heap of garbage
We purchased a top of the range Beefeater BBQ and have had nothing but trouble with it and the service from Befeater is nothing short of shocking. I would never recommend a Beefeater to anyone. They are very hard to clean, over priced and garbage.Be warned, stay away as they are not worth the money or heartache.
Expensive,bad warranty service, rubbish product,

Agreed! Our beefeater cooks unevenly, burns meat and because of poor design of the lid, it fills with water in rain. According to their service dept, they are not designed to be outside? Unbelievable!

The most powerful bbq built
After much searching, reviewing and asking lots and lots of questions - I narrowed my contenders down to the Weber, Grandfire and Beefeater. My final choice was the Beefeater signature 6 burner.
After a few weeks of use - it's just awesome. It does take some adjusting to the shear power of this bbq. However, I cooked a chicken on the rotisserie which was just perfect - I've never cooked a roast chicken before!!
Some would baulk at the price - but exceptional quality backed by a lifetime warranty is worth every cent!!
Premium quality, long term investment.

BBQ perfection
Recent purchase and couldnt be happier. Been BBQ'ing for over 20 years and this is hands down thebest bbq investment I have made. I have bbq'd steak, roasted lamb and chicken and and the results have been perfect every time. Beefeater simply know how to make an incredible bbq.
Very high quality, solid components which show. Hood is removable. Able to achieving very hot temps for searing or lower temps for roasting. Thanks to the vaporiser grid and reflector system, flare ups are next to nil and the bbq heats evenly. Excellent range of accessories
No cons whatsoever

A serious BBQ
We've had our Signature for 3 years and still looks brand new and hasn't missed a beat. No rust either. The 4 burner configuration allows plenty of room to feed our family of four. We cook everything on the Signature from BBQ's to roasts and pizzas. We also purchased a rotisserie which is great for BBQ chickens. The ability to take the hood off and add a pizza oven. Would recommend.
High heat, heaps of cooking space, high quality materials and great service

OK
I bought the 4 burner signature with the trolley shown under the 5 burner. The BBQ operates just fine and is reasonably easy to maintain & clean but, like all BBQ's does need a good clean at least once a year to get rid of all the fat and debris. It has very solid construction and it is clear it will probably outlast me. We have tried to cook legs of lamb "by the book" but have been unsuccessful so far. Available as a "Natural Gas" model from the factory - perfect if you don't like the prospect of running out of gas mid BBQ.
Solid construction, relatively easy to clean.
Very expensive. Doesn't cook a leg of lamb as one would expect.

Excellent
Ill never forget the first steak we cooked on this BBQ. It was truly fantastic. Having said that our previous BBQ was a K Mart number worth only what we paid for it lasted only as long as a cheap BBQ can be expected to. The Beefeater 3 burner is a great size for our middle size balcony. We have often catered for up to 10 people on it easily. I only regret not getting the one with the glass window. Hood folds nicely so the BBQ can be pushed right up against the wall. Space saving.
Good size, not too big not too small
Kinda expensive, but good quality.
