Disappointed - Rust is definitely an issue with this BBQ
We were looking for a BBQ with a hood, so bought this BBQ to replace an older BBQ without a hood. The old BBQ sat out in the weather ( rain / hail / sun etc .. ) for about 15 years, and I never once replaced any components. I must admit the frame was starting to show it's age, but the burners were still fine. After 2 years with the BeefMaster sitting on a veranda under cover, I have 2 burners that have completely rusted out, and the flame tamer between the open grill and the burners has also rusted away.

Yes, it rusts out.
After two years, my burners are now stuffed.
The top of the burner is stainless - the underside is thin plate steel and rusts out even if covered/cared for.
Usage was used every two weeks or more.
Do NOT buy one. Total waste of money. Going to cost me 4 New burners to replace. Bar grill is also just about flaked away.

really rubbish.
It is right, it rusts even covered. It is sold for stainless steel, but it is not. Rust in all the body.

Beefmaster 4 burner BBQ
I recently moved in to my new house and was looking for a BBQ to throw out under the pergola for general use that wasn't too expensive, one thing I wanted to make sure of is that it will actually get HOT and not just stew meat. After looking for a couple weeks and reading reviews on what to look for in a BBQ I settled on this beefmaster 4 burner on cart with side burner. I am not by any means a professional, just a regular guy giving you an objective look at something I have purchased and used.
COST:
$549 (with cart and side burner) - I s...Read more

Absolute rubbish, dont waste your $500 on this piece of junk . Will start to rust in next to no time even though undercover and well cared for. Will take you forever to start the piece of [censored word removed] because of the cheap rubbish ignition system . It will let you down time and time again and leave you wondering why you didnt spend your money on a much cheaper bbq of the same quality . Ours is 3 years old and hardly used due to the fact we couldnt be bothered with this bit of garbage. bbqs galore should be liable for selling this [censored word removed]
Rusts easy, wont start

How can you adjust the wok burner it blows itself out when striking to light is there an adjustment underneath?
3 answers
Not aware of any adjustment but you could try physically pushing the lighter very slightly closer to the burner. This will produce a smaller spark but hopefully a more reliable one?
will give it a try thanks
Sorry that didn't work what is the slim rectangle box in front of the burner underneath the top of the wok?

Alot of people are saying it rust fast so just wondering is it the burners or is it structural particularly where the burners sit. My last two cheaper BBQ s have rusted where the burners rest so there's nothing to hold them up after two years

Yes that's true.. for mine, it's the burners..it's terrible, they rusted & crumbled..

Update: so I have had this bbq for about 4 months now and have already needed to replace 2 ignition switches and a grill plate. Haven't had it long enough to notice any rust but I would have to agree ... Read more
that it is not as great as first expected. Still cooks okay but I feel I really could have got something a lot better for the money.
