I have a Belling Richmond 90cm dual fuel range cooker, purchased in August 2018. Scorch marks have appeared on the outside of the upper grill/oven (obviously from using the lower oven). Can you help?
So I have the Richmond 900, how many knobs do you use to get the grill hot and what do you put them on? The grill knob, the 1-8 setting and the knob for the top grill? With temps as well as grill pic?
Hey Treena!
The Grill on your Richmond 900 uses two knobs.
One on the left hand side nearest the clock and one on the right hand side nearest the clock.
Can you provide us your email address? We can email you a document that will assist you.
Thanks.
I am having difficulty getting the grill to come on in the top electric oven. I have followed the instructions to turn selector control knob to grill then select temperature but the grill element doesn’t seem to be getting hot. The oven is brand new only installed last week
Hi Sandra - if you are using the 2x control knobs required to turn on the grill element and still are having no joy, please contact our After Sales team by phone: 1300 556 816 to go through some trouble shooting and/ or organise service as appropriate.
Just starting tonite my new Belling Richmond BR900DF. What is the control closest to the clock on the right hand side for??
Hi Jackie, the control is for the grill, the other side is the setting to grill and/or top oven. enjoy the oven.
Will
Hi Jackie - This control knob is to select the heat output for the grill - which you would have selected using the control knob closest to the clock on the left. If you have any further queries regarding the use of your oven, please feel free to contact our Customer Care team direct to receive a comprehensive guide via email relevant to your oven controls: [email protected]
We have had our Belling Richmond for around 4 years and love it. We have noted though that the condensation seems to becoming more frequent and greater amounts of it out of the back of the unit (forming on the splash back and venting around the stove as well as forming on the tops of doors).
Has anyone else noticed this or is there something that we should have checked?
Glad to hear you have had it for 4 years without the door opening issue. I had a replacement fitted on Friday and the door does appear to stay shut better while cooking....but there was a dent in the front of the door sob sob! I didn't notice condensation but I'm sure there was a section in the troubleshooting examples at the back of the manual on this if that helps
Can someone trouble shoot this problem for me? My bottom left oven won't start, I have made sure that the clock is not flashing.
Hi there
If you have set the time on the clock and it is not flashing, the clock may be in the Auto function rather than Manual.
Check your display and if you have a small 'A' appearing in the top left hand side of the clock, this means that you have accidentally set it for a programmed timer start. Simply press the middle function select button until you see a small 'steaming pot' symbol instead and this should correct your issue.
If you find that you have checked these points and have no change to your issue, please contact our Customer Care team by phone: 1300 556 816 for further assistance.
