Absolute rubbish!!!!!
Previously I have had 2 sets of the km2s and there where really great so I thought my next set I would buy the new km3s ......well what a mistake that was only done 18,000kms on them and they are noisy as hell and wearing so uneven it's not funny!! Will never buy another set of this rubbish ever again!!!
Do NOT purchase these tyres unless you like wasting your money

Better than the ko2 but not good.
Only took these out two times and tore massive chunks out of many lugs on all four tires. They are quiet but what most people don't realise is most mud terrains start relatively quiet because of the square shoulder on the tread blocks and get progressively noisier so don't believe your first impressions.
On road drive performance was adequate and I felt on road wet performance was better than the k02s which I found horribly hard to break with on my brand new Mitsubishi Triton exceed.
Just due to the amount of damage caused on these tires on t...Read more
wo very mild outings I would not buy them again and more recently moved to Federal couragia Mud terrains which are far cheaper and have pretty good characteristics on and off road with absolutely no damage even though I really abused them on my V8 Jeep.Purchased in December 2021 at Tyresales.com.au.

Do NOT buy these
Wow, very bad wearing after only 8000 km.
The inside knobs have worn differently from the outside knobs.
Michelin, who makes these have not responded. Very poor handling and braking now.
I will update this review if Michelin do get back to me or honour the warranty without court action.

Very disappointed...
Have done 5,000kms in them all being bitumen except 1 hr of off-road on intermediate tracks with clay and rocks. All tyres have deteriorated with one front in particular starting to tear 3 knobs off from the back. Contacted Michelin directly as per instructions from retailer and was advised that it’s not a safety issue nor warrantable. Really disappointed considering the amount of research I did prior to purchasing a so-called quality product.

Great value mud tyre
I have always had the BF Goodrich mud terrains on my GQ Patrol, and these are a step up from the already impressive KM2s. The last set of KM2s I had were down to 10mm tread from the original 14mm after 50000km, at which point I upgraded to these. The grip on wet tarmac has improved over the KM2s and road noise is less than most all terrains. They bag out nicely when aired down and grip is awesome in mud and high speed gravel driving. These tyres are on the expensive side but when you’re getting over 100k out of a set they represent good value.

For better and worse....
I had KM2's previously and loved them. The new KM3's feel harsher, have less tread and cause a lot more noise on road and seem to hold stones in the tread more than the km2, even though the opposite is stated by BFG. 12000km in and very little wear. Traction is great in both wet and dry on all surfaces. Are they an improvement on the KM2's? Looks wise they are, the rest of it I'm doubtful about.

Initial impressions after 3 thousand kms
So far not thrilled as I find that they are slightly noisier and give a harsher ride than the previous KM2's.
They also seem to have a tendency to pick up and hold stones and gravel (maybe Aussie gravel is different to American gravel!?)
Biggest bug-bear is that they have proven difficult to balance (three times to date), taking a lot of weights and there are still vibrations happening that have being diagnosed back to out of round tyres (confirmed by last tyre balance shop). Fortunately the online tyre agent has agreed to replace all four,...Read more
so happy with that and fingers crossed the next lot are good. Seriously thinking though I might go back to the KM2's. Usage for me to date has been mostly black stuff (some dirt but slow and dry conditions) with no off road testing of wet conditions or mud, so unable to comment on their prowess in this area. I would hope that this is where they will shine. But on road conditions seem to be a noticeable step back as mentioned above. I will update later when there is more to report.Similar opinion? The first few thousand kilometers - Fantastic!’
I’ve done a few thousand k’s on the all-new KM3’s, and I’ll be buggered if they ain’t the quietest proper 4wd Tyre I’ve ever driven on! They grip like a wild dog on a rabbit too when taken into their home land - mud! I let them down to 16psi and have no traction issues whatsoever.
Having come from an All-Terrain Tyre, I was worried about noise and wet weather performance, but I can assure you they are so damn quiet, I couldn’t hear them in the 4wd even at 110km/h, and they pull up extremely well in the wet, and corner well too.
Mine are 285/75/16’s.
I had KM2’s on a previous 4wd (same make and model as my present one), and they are easily better than their predecessor thus far.
Very impressed
