Taken it twice and both times ended up with terrible rash. I thought first time was just coincidental but second time I had exactly the same rash in the exact same place that I found fairly weird? At the top of my bum 5cm below belt line.

Terrible - have lost my sense of taste almost completely

published

I had no idea that taste loss was a side effect of this product and I wasn't given any warning by the pharmacist who recommended it. The effects are just terrible and I have a taste of 'poison' coming out of my tongue. Its so awful not to taste food - I feel very distressed by this whole experience.

In June 2022 I took Armaforce for 2 weeks. I was admitted to hospital a few weeks later with liver failure and later diagnosed with Drug Induced Liver Injury. Please be careful using this, I now have an incurable lifelong liver condition as a result

Will you risk your loss of taste?

published

Its a horrendous thought for those with a normal sense of taste (including me but a few short months ago) - Having battled through with the advice of Biocueticals that my taste will "100%" return. I have acquired an improvement in taste but nothing that can be classified as taste nor 100% or allowing any enjoyment of food - its simply energy. It should be taken off the market immediately as it is clearly impacting on so many peoples lives. But I suppose the pharmaceuticals are making too much money to worry about the presumed minority. What about those who haven't complained. After promises of support no response to e-mails or phone calls.

The right to repair: which brands are making it easier for you to fix their products?

Lost most of my taste. What’s left is distorted.

published

For a more than a month I’ve been trying to figure out why my sense of taste has been so wonky. I’ve taken about 30 tablets over the past 6 weeks (I’m not the best at taking things everyday). I went and endured that awful covid test because of this loss of taste. Now I find out it’s most likely these tablets that are the cause. Really unhappy to find out how common this side effect is. It’s debilitating. Sweet things in particular taste awful. I tried to eat pasta last night and it tasted like vomit. I stopped the tablets about a week ago but have not seen any real improvement. If a class action happens I’ll put my name to it. These products should be removed from sale.

Armaforce Not Zgood for Everyone

published

I bought Armaforce from Chemist Warehousevin George St Sydney. Bought the 120 tables and took 2 tablets per day don’t know for how long but have 37 left. Got my husband to take it to but when I was told not good for someone taking aspirin he stopped. I have lost my sense of taste. Every food is bland and now I always have salty taste in my mouth. There are also times i find it difficult to swallow even my own saliva. I normally don’t take supplements without my doctors prescription but fear of COVID got me to take up my friends recommendation. Might have worked well for her but not for me. Hopefully my taste buds will come back to normal soon. Moral of the story only take medicine or supplements recommended by your doctor.

Loss of taste

published

same problem as many are complaining about
loss of taste, i stopped aramforce for about 10 days after taking for about 3weeks and started to feel some savoury taste coming back, but was unable to taste sweet, then started armaforce again not knowing at this stage that the problem was from the armaforce, but once all taste went again, i put two and two together and also read these other reviews and realised armaforce was the cause- have contacted the company.
It has now been 5 days since i stopped taking and taste is still bad.... hoping it starts to get better soon.
This product is really bad and hope the investigation by bioceuticals finds the cause soon!!

The pharmacist said it was one of the best products available, but I've lost my sense of taste

published

I started on Armaforce about 4 weeks ago and for the last three weeks, I thought I had reflux, with a really bad taste in my mouth and in the last few days, almost complete taste loss. Everything tastes chalky. I can't even taste sardines. This has happened before and I think I had taken Armaforce for a month at the time, but not sure of the exact timing now. Then, I thought it was just straight reflux and for the first time in my life, I tool Pantoprazole. I was better within a week and much better within two weeks. This time, 10 days on Pantoprazole has so far made no difference. I stopped the Armaforce today and hopefully that will make the difference and I'll get my sense of taste back.
