Had the same horrible issue as others and eventually, after dropping all my medications and supplements one by one, and with the help of a TGA report narrowed it down to the andrographis In this product (beware It’s also present in a Swisse branded immune product). Stopped taking it two weeks ago without any improvement yet. Please remove these products from the market urgently.

Disgusting product, needs to be taken off the shelf ASAP!! I can’t believe a ‘natural product’ can cause so many problems. Pharmacist need to STOP recommending this product. I was also giving this to my 14 year old son and thank goodness he has no side effects. I’m the one who has lost my sense of taste. Whatever I eat makes me nauseous and can’t taste a thing and I’m losing weight. Something needs to be done about this.

My husband and I started taking Armaforce after it was recommended to us by a niece working in health care. I lost some sense of taste the next day after taking 2 tablets than after a week lost all taste. Started researching as I felt it could be Armaforce as the cause. I then found this site and have immediately stopped taking them. My husband had no ill effects but will not take them now.

Was taking 1-2 tablets daily for around 2 months. Loss my taste of sweet and salty suddenly and thought I had Covid19, but test was negative. A friend told me about these posts of people having taste loss reactions from armaforce and given the similarities in my symptoms to those posted here, I am certain armaforce is the cause. It is now 4 weeks since stopping and my taste of sweet and salty has improved, it’s probably at about 80-90% now but I continue to have an unpleasant lingering taste in my mouth all the time and I hope this disappears soon. I will report to TGA also.

I have been taking armaforce for over a month and about a week and 1/2 ago all of the sudden I lost my sense of taste. I tried to think of the reason but couldn’t figure it out. Called the doctor and got tested for Covid 19 which came back negative. As I only lost my sense of taste and didn’t have a cold or a flu or sore throat, the doctor was very intrigued.
After reading this reviews I am convinced it was this. I will stop immediately and hopefully my taste will come back

I have also lost my taste from taking ArmaForce 1-2 tablets for 2-3 weeks. Sweet foods are totally unpalatable and I am vegan. I have a constant salty taste in my mouth too and black coffee taste like saline. I have lost considerable weight and am becoming increasingly concerned as no improvement at 6 weeks now. There should be a public notice and recall. Bioceuticals simply changing the label and dose instructions is not acceptable. I only heard about the problem from overhearing naturopaths talk about it. Due to Covid and flu season pending I would likely have taken it again otherwise.

After taking two tablets a day through the whole bottle my taste buds were completely ruined everything taste like salt and felt like vomiting after every meal my family went through the same thinking it might of been the virus has put us through a lot of trauma not to mention miserable mealtimes I agree with all the other comments after six weeks my taste buds are finally coming back to normal I’ve been to hell and back

I have been taking Armaforce since March and now have no taste buds. Everything has no taste what so ever. Will my taste come back. I won’t be taking it again

I will certainly join in a class action. I have had the most traumatic 10 months due to the loss of sense of taste...taking Armaforce supplements I thought were going to help my immune system. My local chemist made me aware of this problem just two days ago. 10 months of tasteless food meaning I had great difficulty eating foods the first few months, everything I put in my mouth made me feel nauseous, losing 10kgs, rapid weight loss caused my hair to fall out...had blood tests done, had an MRI, thought I was going crazy as all results came back with no answers as to why. Not even worth the one star.... :(

Armaforce has caused me to loose sense of taste completely and I have continual awful taste in mouth. It’s serious life threatening side effect. In this time of Co Vid virus ( Govt verified side effect: loss of taste ).. I had co vid test because of side effect. Level of psychological trauma caused and on- going is severe for me.
This is very serious. There seems to be many similar experiences. The product labelling is insufficient. There needs to be class action . I let the TGA know today and I’m not alone. This is now URGENT.
Can anyone advise on a class action ?

For a more than a month I’ve been trying to figure out why my sense of taste has been so wonky. I’ve taken about 30 tablets over the past 6 weeks (I’m not the best at taking things everyday). I went and endured that awful covid test because of this loss of taste. Now I find out it’s most likely these tablets that are the cause. Really unhappy to find out how common this side effect is. It’s debilitating. Sweet things in particular taste awful. I tried to eat pasta last night and it tasted like vomit. I stopped the tablets about a week ago but have not seen any real improvement. If a class action happens I’ll put my name to it. These products should be removed from sale.

I was taking ArmaForce, one table a day, for about a month or so before I noticed my 'sweet' foods had turned to an off taste. I checked with my doctor and she recommended to go off them for few days to see any change. I did stop for 2 weeks and had no change so I have been back on them for about 3 weeks now. But after reading these reviews I will stop again now for good and hope my my sweet taste comes back in time.

I started taking this as I was feeling really run down, it was recommended by my pharmacist, about a week after taking the recommended dose on the bottle had really A bad headache that is now two days in, it may be a good product for some people but I’m going to stop and see if my headache disappears,also a bad taste that still hanging around, I didn’t think it was from the tablets but reading these comments I have to think it must be from this

One tablet a day and woke up one morning all taste gone and a headache. 7 days since stopping no change.
Had to be tested for Covid. Thank fully negative.
I cannot believe how many people on this site with same problem.
It is far from rare and they should be off the market.

I agree with all the prior reviews re being with this product and lack of transparency re side effects. Also had a COVID test re concern given side effects. Please take action.

After 5 weeks I feel better with some taste back, however taste of all food is still distorted and water still does not taste as it use too. Have lost 11 kilos.
