Well worth buying
I have a slightly older model (2067F). I assume this is why it was on sale when I bought it around a year ago. My machine is fantastic. It brings up upholstery beautifully. I have used it on a family member’s lounge also was told me that I had done a better job with the Bissell than the professional cleaners previously. Get one, it will save you money in the long term. The machine is easy to use, lightweight and portable. You could use it on carpets but due to the size of the machine it would require frequent fill ups. That being said it could be used effectively in sections of a room that are walked on frequently.

I've the white emergency spot version
Everybody needs one. The fact they are so small and not that expensive, yet they save expensive carpets and sofas. Easy to use, although the water can dribble a bit sometimes. Needs only one refill to do a large sofa.
I found it hard to decide which model to buy as there are no comparisons. I have the white emergency spot clean that looks like the little green.

An upholstery life saver!
For a little machine it sure does a great job. So simple to use and gives a great clean given it's not an industrial machine. I've used it on my rug, kids mattress, dining chairs and lounge - all things that cop a horrendous time from 2 young children, and it literally brought them back to life and made them look almost new again. I usually get everything professionally cleaned every 12 months but I honestly think this machine will extend this time to at least every 2 years if not longer. Any unused cleaning mix can be left in the tank and stor...
Read moreed in the machine ready to be whipped out when needed. Dirty tank is easy to detach and rinse out. The storage design for the cord and hose are good and allows everything to be stored away easily and compactly. The only downside is that the hose sometimes feels slightly too short and means you have to move the machine around a bit to get it to reach, but it's really not an issue as moving it isn't difficult. This machine is some of the best money I've spent on a home appliance and I would absolutely recommend it.- Date Purchased

The Best Thing I've Bought.
I love this little appliance so much - I've just bought another three (3) of them on line from Godfrey's for my 2 x sons and daughter. The best little no nonsense & effective cleaner ever - especially for dog and cat issues. Great for car carpet and seats and the detergents that are sold with the machine leave a really fresh scent - Godrey's - you are on a winner with this one.

Very handy
They thought of everything with this little machine. For example there is a holder to wrap the cord with, and a clip to keep it there. It's very well built.
I have found the water tank to be a little small, but I am probably using it for larger areas than the machine was design floor (ie. a spot cleaner). I have used it on a huge rug and it came up brilliantly (couldn't believe how dirty it actually was), 6 dining chair's upholstery and carpet. I am about to use it on the car seats too. I've found that mostly water is all you need, but I am guessing a cleaning product would be useful for really stubborn stains.
Happy with the purchase.

Small and packs a punch!
I bought this to clean upholstery and it did an OK job but I wasn't wowed. It seemed to do a relatively ok job.
Then I pulled it out to clean a rug and WOW! Wow wow wow!
I had to refill the water tank a few times because the rug was filthy but it did an amazing job on a kid/dog dirtied rug.

Great little product
We have an old dog and new carpet. We love our renovated home but we also love our old dog. We bought this to clean up his (numerous) accidents. This product is compact, easy to use, and very effective. I wish I had bought it years ago. Great product, great value. I would strongly recommend this unit to others.

Great machine but can't clean the dirty water tank.
Shame you can't take the dirty water tank apart and clean it properly. That's the only downside to the machine. Use it often with pets and grandchild and find it easy to use and very effective just would like to get the buildup of grime from in the dirty water tank

I'm kinda annoyed I never bought this thing years ago!
It's bloody tops, It got all of my stains out of my cream fabric chairs, my couches and the carpet!
The pet stain solution stuff also works well too and it's amazing how well this works.
I wished the vacuum hose was a little longer though but it's not a huge issue.
Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone!

It's ok but not amazing
I don't know if I'm not using it properly but it really doesn't get rid of the stains in the carpets. I bought the little green solution too and it does an average job. I spray, wait and then use the vacuum. I end up with some dirty water but the stain is still there. I've tried vacuuming the spots for upto 15 minutes to make sure I'm getting all out but usually still residue stain on the carpet.
It's ok, but not amazing.

If you have pets, children or are a bit clumsy like me - GET IT!
I checked the reviews for the Little Green online, including here, before I went out to purchase it and OMG! I'm so glad I got it!
It's extremely easy to assemble (just a few clicks and 1 screw), and even easier to use! Fill the cleaning solution to the line, fill the rest up with water -- find your target and squeeze! :-D
I've now spot cleaned areas in my bedroom, hallway, and have nearly cleaned a whole area rug in my dining room - and that little tank still has solution in it!
Granted, this is *not* an actual carpet "cleaner" -- yo...
Read moreu aren't meant to be cleaning entire rooms or massive areas with this machine -- but I tell you what, for people who have pets (like me) who make a boo-boo here and there, or if you're a red wine drinker (like me) who makes a boo-boo here and there (LOL!) -- this machine is IDEAL! It's light weight, compact and does the job! You do have to put a little bit of 'elbow grease' into the spot you're trying to erase...but not a whole heck of a lot. And if you didn't have this machine, you'd be putting in serious 'elbow grease' to get your stain out anyway. Long and the short of it -- for small areas and spot cleaning, it's amazing! And its eco-friendly credentials just add to its awesomeness! Go Little Green :-D- Date Purchased

So much power out of such a little machine
We used to call the local carpet cleaner to clean our drapes, couches and spot clean any carpet stains until we heard from many of our friends that we need to try this machine ... Being so affordable at only $179 at our local godfreys store (was reduced from $249 down to $199 and then I bargained that little bit extra to $179) we decided to purchase one and save the embarrassment of borrowing it from one of our friends to try out before we buy .. Wow what a machine, this came with its own little cleaning solution and with a little warm water I ...

Perfect for small children and pets
Had little Green 3 years and still working, so I will say it is well made. We had a old cat that would poo on the carpet, a small child that puked on the carpet, orange juice, red wine dropped on the poor carpet. The machine cleaned it all up. Had a water leak wet the carpet and vac sucked the water out, tank emptied 5 times so a lot of water, no problem for the Little Green. Just got it out to clean up a cat puke on the carpet, the new cat is feeling a bit off colour. Don't know how I would do without this vac. Also use it to clean the car seats.

Could not live without a Green Machine
We had 3 cats all now gone but now have 2 teenage cats. No cat/ Pet owner should live without a little Green Machine. When we sold our Townhose there was not one mark on the carpet thanks to the clever little machine. The lounge was given a clean just to freshen up it worked a treat. It is so much easier to store and use than a carpet shampooer ready to use in a minute.

A Little Ripper
I read a review on this great site which was the best thing I did, thanks to the last reviewer.
I wanted a good cleaner with no long handle and portable enough so I can clean car seats.
While in Nowra I found a shop that sold cleaners and sold the Bissell Little Green, which I bought and couldn't wait to try out.
As a learning run I tried it out on an old lounge chair, which is so dirty as its a work shop lounge, grease, dirt, grime and other unknown stains. I didn't think it would have a chance, WRONG, I took a picture to show every one.
I...

Worth buying
I actually cannot remember how I stumbled on to looking at this machine, but it is a wee ripper.
We steam clean our carpets with a hired machine each year, so I know how the big machines work, but also know they cannot really do small items such as chairs.
So I trawled the Internet, looking at other solutions for my filthy beautiful white armchair to get rid of a number of years grime.
This was the first machine I saw and was pleasantly surprised that I could buy it locally.
We tried it today.
Fantastic.
I would strongly recommend buying ...

Sucks well but terrible to clean :/
We have a great dane puppy & toddler so purchased this to spot clean rugs and our couch. It does suck ok, doesn't do a brilliant job but it is cheaper than paying for an upholstery cleaner to come out every other month.
Major downside would be the (in)ability to clean the dirty water tank. The manual just says "Empty and rinse the collection/dirty tank after each use, OR when dirty water reaches the indicated maximum fill line. To remove the
tank, lift up the collection/dirty tank release latch and remove the tank from the unit". There is ...

Wonderful! Critical for our home maintenance
Bought one because they were on sale. I have a carpet shampooer but find it takes longer to clean the machine than it is to use it. I hoped the green machine would be good for cleaning pet mess. We have 2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 ferrets and I can't count the birds 'cos they keep breeding.Dog or cat accidents, (old animals) this machine works like magic for cleaning, and soo easy to clean the machine after! Don't know how I managed without it!! Kids make a mess....I no longer worry about it. If you have pets or children- this machine is essential.

Wish I had on years ago...
Absolutely essential in a home with kids and pets, perfect for small spills and spot cleaning carpet, or fabric furniture (lounge chairs, car seats etc). Ridiculously satisfying seeing all that muck being pulled out - you may become addicted to this! Wish I'd had one years ago, would have saved a fortune on carpet cleaning.

Perfect for small jobs like rugs and couches
I bought this for cleaning milk and food from the couches and our dogs foot tracks from the rugs. Its so convenient, easy to use and light weight. I need a small extension cord because the cord supplied isn't long but otherwise it's fantastic and really sucks up dirt and cleans fabric and carpet really well.

Little green is great
Works like a charm, the product is great, the service just isn't...(mine became blocked and after lengthy waits on the phone, i was given incorrect advice re unblocking, as mine is old and doesn't open up to access blockage. Clearing the blockage was a major problem for me...)
But i love my green machine and use it often, for small mop ups and for larger areas of carpet too!

Great little cleaner
As a stain remover and cleaner of small areas such as cloth car seats it is very good. If you want to clean larger areas, this isn't for you but for smaller jobs, it does it so well. As a professional carpet cleaner from some years ago I would recommend it with the above proviso.
Great little thing...
I bought this a little apprehensive as I needed to clean the upholstry of a very messy car that was full of stains and marks from two small children. I bought this in lieu of taking the car to a car detailer which was going to cost twice as much as the actual 'Little Green'. The seats have come up a treat, and greatly improved the overall appearance of the seats (we are selling the car so a huge benefit!). I love seeing the dirty water being sucked up in the machine - so satisfying. Will definitely be using this for more car cleaning, sofas, dining room seating etc. Perfect if you have kids and can't keep on top of all the mess!

AMAZEBALLS!!!!
I got this little machine because my cat is a monster that LOVES to sometimes miss her litter tray all together. It has cleaned up new and old stains. Would recommend.. Also, if it is an older stain, probably need to attack it 2-3 times. Awesome job, especially for $99!

Did not clean dog urine stain
Bought this unit specifically to clean dog urine that had been on the carpet for around three days. Was assured it would work and it didn't. Had to fight tooth and nail to get a refund from Godfreys (which was actually more expensive than other places like Masters). If you do want it, make sure you articulate what you need it for to the sales rep (as I did) so that you can get your money back if it doesn't work (which I eventually did, after a fairly ugly fight with Godfreys). Disappointed this item didn't live up to the hype.

Read moreroken and the cost of the repair is not worth it. So it in summary this machine was great whilst it worked, however I would have used it only around six or seven times since purchase before it broke down. I won’t be buying another Bissell.
