Wish I had on years ago...
Absolutely essential in a home with kids and pets, perfect for small spills and spot cleaning carpet, or fabric furniture (lounge chairs, car seats etc). Ridiculously satisfying seeing all that muck being pulled out - you may become addicted to this! Wish I'd had one years ago, would have saved a fortune on carpet cleaning.

Perfect for small jobs like rugs and couches
I bought this for cleaning milk and food from the couches and our dogs foot tracks from the rugs. Its so convenient, easy to use and light weight. I need a small extension cord because the cord supplied isn't long but otherwise it's fantastic and really sucks up dirt and cleans fabric and carpet really well.

Little green is great
Works like a charm, the product is great, the service just isn't...(mine became blocked and after lengthy waits on the phone, i was given incorrect advice re unblocking, as mine is old and doesn't open up to access blockage. Clearing the blockage was a major problem for me...)
But i love my green machine and use it often, for small mop ups and for larger areas of carpet too!

Great little cleaner
As a stain remover and cleaner of small areas such as cloth car seats it is very good. If you want to clean larger areas, this isn't for you but for smaller jobs, it does it so well. As a professional carpet cleaner from some years ago I would recommend it with the above proviso.

Great little thing...
I bought this a little apprehensive as I needed to clean the upholstry of a very messy car that was full of stains and marks from two small children. I bought this in lieu of taking the car to a car detailer which was going to cost twice as much as the actual 'Little Green'. The seats have come up a treat, and greatly improved the overall appearance of the seats (we are selling the car so a huge benefit!). I love seeing the dirty water being sucked up in the machine - so satisfying. Will definitely be using this for more car cleaning, sofas, dining room seating etc. Perfect if you have kids and can't keep on top of all the mess!

AMAZEBALLS!!!!
I got this little machine because my cat is a monster that LOVES to sometimes miss her litter tray all together. It has cleaned up new and old stains. Would recommend.. Also, if it is an older stain, probably need to attack it 2-3 times. Awesome job, especially for $99!

Did not clean dog urine stain
Bought this unit specifically to clean dog urine that had been on the carpet for around three days. Was assured it would work and it didn't. Had to fight tooth and nail to get a refund from Godfreys (which was actually more expensive than other places like Masters). If you do want it, make sure you articulate what you need it for to the sales rep (as I did) so that you can get your money back if it doesn't work (which I eventually did, after a fairly ugly fight with Godfreys). Disappointed this item didn't live up to the hype.

An excellent little unit for small jobs - cars, rugs, upholstery!!
I bought this machine after reading a number of reviews and wasn't disappointed. The machine is small and mobile but quite solid and robust with incredibly powerful suction. I have used it on a rug where my dog vomited, on a small spill on my lounge and on my car interior (seats and carpet) with surprisingly great results on all. I found that if I spray the area first with an appropriate pre treatment upholstery cleaner then follow the Bissell instructions the results are superb. As you operate the machine you can see the dirty solution being e...Read more
xtracted - it is amazing just what this affordable little machine can extract. My car was filthy with ingrained dirt, dust & pet hair and this little machine cleaned up my interior beautifully. The dirty fluid extraction chamber is easy to clean when you are finished. The plastic cover on the brush head tool where the water is extracted is clear and cannot be removed - it doesn't matter how many time you rinse this out there is still grime stuck in there that cannot be removed. It does not smell and it does not affect the performance of the machine - I just prefer to pack the brush head away completely clean. Like most extractors/carpet cleaners it will leave your rugs/upholstery items damp so you need to give them opportunity to dry or just cover with a towel until the area is completely dry. This was a wise investment in my household! Everything! Excellent suction & portability and inexpensive!! Wish I could clean the clear plastic crevice on the extractor brush headSimilar opinion? Worth its Weight
I bought a Bissell Little Green Machine model 30K4 240v thru EBay a month ago specifically to clean the interior of a good but second hand Prado that was owned by a serious smoker. Roof lining yellow, seats and carpet. Any hot day or when the heater was used the smell of smoke permeated everywhere. It was very unpleasant.
I hired a carpet cleaner from a local supermarket which was adequate but clumsy and not at all effective for getting close to the edges of fittings, creases etc etc with a bottom line that it is not a good choice. I read re...Read more

Works for little jobs
I noticed, if you are having to clean stairs, this is great. If you have to clean an area the size of your bathroom or a larger walk in closet, not so much fun. It works, but also, I noticed if you get in real dirty areas, the nozzle that sucks up the water and dirt gets pretty dirty that even when you run water through the system it leaves the plastic see through area pretty dirty. Other than that, it is great in small areas. (perfect for a smaller car but not a mini van, takes FOREVER) So in the end would recommend for smaller little jobs with out a doubt!
Easy to use refill and empty etc
suction piece gets dirty and hard to clean even when soaked

Favourite Gadget
I love my Bissell Little Green. I already have a Bissell Pet Cleaner and love that, so thought the Little Green might be handy for smaller jobs. It is very easy to use, and easy to clean. The solution can be left in the machine so there is no fiddling around measuring solutions when you need it in a hurry. My dog vomited on my cream rug a week ago. I just grabbed the Little Green and cleaned it up very quickly. It is also excellent for cleaning my lounge suite. I highly recommend it.
Everything. Easy to use, easy to clean and small enough to store when not in use.

Great product
What a brilliant little machine - I bought this last weekend and my husband has already used it to bring up our plaster coloured & sweat stained macro suede lounge, upholstered dining chairs & entry lounge cushion up like new.
It is so easy to use although you do need to be do the entire area otherwise you can end up with a water stain or it will be so much cleaner than surrounding areas you do need to redo. Considering we normally pay more than what the cleaner cost to clean just our lounge this little appliance will continue paying for it...Read more
self over and over! It really is a ripper. Also I want to also say how helpful the staff were at Godfreys Bndall where I purchesed this from. Ease of use, compact and reasonably priced + it is made from recycled materials (easy on the conscience :-)Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Awsome cleaner
I received this little cleaner from my son for Christmas. It is up there with one of my best household appliances. It along with the Roomba vacuum cleaner are the very best additions to my cleaning machines. It has a very powerful motor and sucks the moisture straight up from the carpet pile. I have just finished cleaning a dog vomit and it did the job perfectly. I highly recommend this cleaner to anybody.
Fantastic performance
Tiny leak sometimes from the tube

Excellent
Good value for money - mine cost $185 @ Harvey Norman. It cost that to clean a three piece lounge, so it pays for itself after the first use.
Brilliant machine...light and easy to use. Great for lounges, small carpets/rugs, car upholstery etc. You can squirt the shampoo onto the spot or item and leave for a few minutes, then vaccuum up the dirty water. Had one many years ago and this is much lighter and easier to use.
Can't think of any!

Contact Bissell customer care
Was there a rubber stopper-like piece at the bottom of the tank? Do you still have the receipt for the machine?
Definitely contact Bissell Customer Service immediately. They should be able to repair the machine, replace the machine or refund the cost for you.

The hose on mind is very stiff and has cracked and broken where it's attached to the machine and also at the other end where the attachments go. Is this normal?

It wont suck up dirty water to the dirty water tank

Check there isn't dirt/hair blocking the pipe that goes from the roller up to the dirty water tank.
If that is clear then contact Bissel HO there may be a fault.
