purchased 2 tier s/steel steamer set 2 years ago and now the 3rd bakalite handle has disintergrated
truly these stainless steel pots and 2steamers are dangerous as the bakalite handles become brittle and fall apart in your hands when you are using them. 3 of the 6 handles have disintegrated bloody dangerous with bolling water in them.rate them minus 1star if it was possible!!!!! 2

Stainless Pots
Stainless steel pots seem to burn everything I have cooked in them even soup clear broth. Extremely disappointed as they were not cheap.
Brought from Harris scarf under a year ago and not happy with the product at all.
Purchased in May 2021 for $200.00.

Buyer beware
Received large stainless stockpot as gift. Used once for soup. Cleaned and put away. Took product out of cupboard this morning, 3 x 10cm vertical splits on sides! Have never seen this on similar product in my life. Could go through warranty process I guess but easier to move on to another brand.
Purchased in December 2021 for $79.00.

My quest for saucepans that actually do work on induction is over.
When I got my new Bosch induction cooktop I had to pension off my much loved old saucepans because they weren't suitable for induction. I purchased several saucepans and frying pans from Target (Curtis Stone) and KMart that were inexpensive, all with the induction symbol on them. They looked good and I thought that would be that, except they wouldn't work on all the rings. I thought it had something to do with the cooktop and how I'd set it up or the pots not matching the ring size, but the cheap Ikea spaghetti pot I had worked perfectly wel...Read more
l on all the rings. I was puzzled. Finally it dawned on me that not all cookware is equal despite the labelling and perhaps even despite price. Anyway I lashed out and bought some Smith and Nobel Professional Stainless Steel saucepans from Harris Scarfe (on sale of course) and they work like a dream. They have a very flat base, heat up fast and the heat distribution appears even. I can use all the rings on my cooktop with this cookware (at last). Oh, and I like the glass lids and they can go in the oven. The sautepan I have has a nonstick interior while the other saucepans are stainless steel inside. As you can buy them individually you can always try one to see if it suits your cooking style, but I'm happy.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I was given a smith + noble

5 piece copper base
Cookware set
For christmas as gift, and the 18cm glass lid on the saucepan, exploded, while I still had the potatoes in the pan.
The glass was on top of the stove,
And benchtop, and on the floor, what a surprise, and extremely dangerous.
I am making a enquiry as to my options.
I notied that the lids are not under warranty?
I would like to know how do I go about replacing the 18cm glass lid.
Also if there is a problem with the glass lids, should I return the saucepan set?
