Black Wolf Turbo

I have a small tear in the canvas of a relatively new turbo 300 just wondering if it’s best to tape that or get it stitched up.
I also have the super fly and 2 of the guy rope clips have come off. Are they covered by warranty.

Hi, what’s the best way to minimise condensation. We have the 300 twin lite. Newest model. Thanks

Always leave air flow throughout the tent by leaving the gusset fly out and screen partially open. This will stop condensation build up in the tent..

Undo the the tent into the position that you would have it before you would straighten the arms when erecting it. Then undo the screws in the centre hub replace arm do screws back up sounds easy but will cause some swearing

I went to buy a 450 model this week and the store told me the model had been recalled. Does anyone know why it has been recalled and whether the 380 model has also been recalled? Cannot find any information on a recall.

We were told in Tentworld that the recall was because the awning zips for the add on panels were on backwards, still functional but a bit dodgy.

I have a serious problem with floor condensation, not a leak, under the mattresses of a morning. We have experimented with and without a tarp underneath to no success. It's so frustrating to see cheaper tents without the same problem. All windows and vents are open. Any ideas on a solution?

We also have had this problem. Our normal setup involves layers. Woollen picnic rug on the ground, then mattress, then and old doona on top followed by the fitted sheet. Originally done for thermal insulation it seems to prevent condensation too.

Looking at getting a Turbo 300, If I was to get the plus can you leave the plus part not set up?? Ie if camping with two peple just use it as a 300 and then when away with more people set up the plus part to give you more room?

No, the structure requires the plus section to prive lateral support. Maybe also consider buying two oz tents, they can be joined In the middle to form a large tent with two rooms

I have a black wolf turbo lite plus 300 and the seam tape is coming off on the fly and the tent it's self also there is mould on the inside of the tent, what products should I use to water proof the fly and tent and what product should I use to water proof the seams of the tent and fly?
As far as I know the tent has not been packed away wet as we always dry them out at the scout hall.

Yes you can. Just roll up the extra bit of canvas.

I have the FS version which had a peak in the roof rather than the longer version to which you can add sides.
However, I'd agree with Storm that a Si plea solution would be to roll it up.

Thank you for that will try on next set up

Hi, I have been given a gift from my son of a Black Wolf 300 Turbo. I have massive phobia especially surrounding bugs entering the tent but was assured that the tent had a snake proof floor and the fibreglass mesh would stop anything getting into the sleeping compartment of the tent. I was horrified to discover that there is a 2cm gap where the vertical and horizontal zips meet. I have spoken with a distributor and they have informed me that BW have changed the zip mechanism as they seem to have caught onto this issue. Unfortunately we have moved twice in the past 6 months and can no longer find the receipt. Has anyone had issues with this before and have they found a solution? I would appreciate any help as I love camping and wish to continue but need this resolved before I will venture out again.

You are not able to buy just a fly. Blackwolf do not sell them separately. Also, the centre plastic joiner is different on the 3 pole awning. Not interchangable to the 2 pole sorry.
