Great oven
This oven looks great in the kitchen and we one member of the family is a celiac. So the top oven in totally free gluten free and the bottom oven is for wheat products. This works well when we have home made pizza and they all go in the ovens at the same time and no possibility of cross contamination. Works really well and cooks well.

Looks & Works Great
This oven looks great, it's easy to clean (inside and out), the glass doors don't get very hot when in use which is excellent, especially for those with small children. It seems to cook evenly and because there are two ovens you have plenty of flexibility.
Coming from an older oven that had a main oven and grill this was a pleasant surprise. We purchased this for a few different reasons but one was because it fit the existing space. We didn't realise it had a main oven and a small top oven, not just a grill. I often use the top oven for garl...
Read moreic bread or pies, it makes sense not to heat a large oven for a something small. Only the bottom oven is fan-forced so you need to be aware of your cooking requirements. Both ovens have grilling features which unlike grills of old, you actually close the door. This appliance comes with ample shelves and trays and seems it be a well-made, quality product. My only negatives about this oven are the controls. When setting the timer, it is very hard to get the correct number, it starts at either 5 mins or 10 mins and to get anywhere inbetween is ridiculously difficult. The other thing which we find ourselves doing is using the wrong dials for the wrong ovens. There are 2 dials on the left and 2 on the right, it would have made sense to have the 2 on the left operate one oven and the 2 on the right operate the other. However, this is not the case. The 2 most outer dials control the top oven and the 2 inner dials control the main oven. It doesn't make sense. Overall, it's an excellent oven and looks sleek and modern.

Bosch Oven Offers Optimum Performance
This sleek looking double oven looks smart in our kitchen. Two easy clean universal shelves are included accessories and provide the options of use as drip trays, baking trays or cookie sheets. Slotted inserts are provided that fit into either one of the trays, useful for grilling or heating serving plates. The smaller top oven caters well when cooking for just two, reducing power costs. When the larger lower oven is in use, the top oven is a useful warning area for plates or can be set low to keep cooked food at serving temperature. The possi...
Read morebilities for interchangeable use across both ovens are endless. And if cooking for a large number then having the increased oven space assists enormously. The lower oven can be used conventionally or in fan forced mode, as well as offering a grilling option. Reading the instruction manual carefully and adhering to suggested shelf heights for particular dishes is worth the time as food positioning in the oven is important for best results. There is good illumination offered from interior lights in both ovens and the electronic timer offering delayed start and finish times in the lower oven is a feature I personally find very, very handy. The oven's exterior remains cool during use, a must with little ones close by. I'm pleased with this Bosch oven. It recently replaced my 25 year old St George, a cherished and trusted 'friend'. I see this Bosch offering me as much if not more than its predecessor.- Date Purchased

Read moreith this. The fan forced lower oven can be used when I want to avoid this problem. But singularly, the feature that disappoints, is the timer function. The timer can be preset so the lower oven will activate at a future time and then switch off after the designated time. This feature was well used with my previous oven and the Bosch appealed because it featured this option. What is very disappointing is that when the ‘time on’ is set the fan immediately starts and runs up to and including the baking time and then for some time after the oven switches off. So if I set the oven to come on in six hours time, the fan will be active for six hours - wasted electricity usage in my view. The fan running during and after baking time is understandable but beforehand?? I had a technician out while the oven was under warranty to correct the problem and he was puzzled. He subsequently found out that this is how the oven is meant to function. It is not, in Bosch’s view, a fault. There’s plenty to like about the oven but I’m deeply disappointed about what I consider a significant design fault.
