Loved it at first now having problems after 2 years
Serie 8 HBG675BB2ABought the oven, matching microwave and induction cook top hence just over 6k in total for the whole suite in a new kitchen install….notice when starting to use that the left hand side of the touch panel was not so responsive…..persevered with its operation….completed one cycle of pyrolitic clean without event……in the last six months have now noticed that the left hand side touch screen is now no longer working hence I cannot select setting, cleaning options or some of the cooking menus…..I would have expected that a so called quality German br

Read moreand would have been free of defects but looking at other users appears to be a common fault…..Microwave is vastly under powered the inductive cook top seems good without ant failure so far….updated note we now have an additional problem e6100 error which is cooling fan failure which also now need a new circuit board also
Another touchpad failure
Serie 8 HBG675BB2AWas good except for about 6 months ago the left touch screen stopped working. I see this is a very common thread for Bosch ovens. Good timing straight after warranty finished!!

Works well
Serie 8 HBG675BB2AFood is always cooked evenly although when following recipes I feel like I have to cook a little longer then they state. The pyro clean is good turns everything to ash to just wipe out. The dial did get stuck due to liquid spillage from my microwave on top, it took me a while to work out you can remove the dial and clean.

Serie 8 HBG675BB2ABest oven I’ve had by a mile. Perfect crackling every time, no mistake. Pyrolytic works a dream. Could not recommend more. Had Westinghouse, looked at Miele, Bosch is great value at great price.

The inside glass panel broke after 2 weeks
Serie 8 HBG675BB2AA few weeks ago, my very old, trustworthy gas oven came to end and I decided to replace it with a fancy new electric Bosch oven. I read the reviews and decided to get what I thought was a premium product. It worked beautifully a few times and then...fast forward two weeks: I was getting something out of the oven, the door was open and a butter knife that was on my bench fell on the glass door and SHATTERED it! Just like that. Not a hammer. A butter knife!

... Read morenot tempered-glass which means I had big sharp shards of glass all over the place. I'm a single mum with a small kid and a very inquisitive dog so I had to get everyone out of the kitchen ASAP to pick up the dangerous pieces of glass. I called Bosch the next day and apparently this is "normal", it is "fragile" so I need to be careful in the future. This never happened with my old oven which was probably over 20 years old (it came with the house). The replacement glass cost $163, I'm supposed to be able to replace it myself, but I am really worried about cutting myself while dismantling the door and removing the remaining broken glass. My Bosch dishwasher is over 7 years old and is amazing so I trusted this brand but no more. I'm now worried that even after I replace the glass I have to watch for anything that might accidentally fall from the bench onto the open door. Do your research. Make sure the oven you buy is sturdy and uses tempered glass. Safety first! *** Update: I was contacted by Bosch to "help me with the issue" and their help consisted in giving me the number to their Customer Service so I could book a technician to come and replace the glass. Here is how much that would cost me, on top of the $160 I already paid for the glass: $110 call out fee + $9.90/6 minutes... What a joke. Thank you for nothing Bosch, I can't believe your expensive oven is so dangerous and you can't even acknowledge it. Stay away from Bosch!!!
5 stars - pure & simple
Serie 8 HBG675BB2A5 stars in every aspects including cosmetics, functionality, performance. Heats rapidly, appears to stay clean more so than normal ovens, easy to wipe off & back to new condition. dial function is very handy, modern & different too, than boring dials with numbers. Love it.
