Can a water hammer arrestor be used with the WAW28420AU?

Hi Vivien,
We don't have any restrictions on them but would recommend speaking to a plumber for your particular premises as to whether it would be needed and it wouldn't mess with the water supply to the appliance.

Serie 8 WAW28441AU

Hi, we’ve had our WAW28441AU 8kg front loader for 2 months and initially it worked well.
Over the last 2 weeks there have been a couple of issues. First issue being that the water pressure indication came on. We followed the instructions and checked the filter which was perfectly clean. We turned the machine off and on again several times and it eventually worked. Today it has decided to not fill with water and not dispense the detergent. And we have checked water pressure, filter and have turned on and off numerous times. There are no alarm indicators lighting up, the machine is going through the normal wash cycle thinking there is water and detergent.
I would like to note that we don’t overfill the machine. There is currently 5 bath towels in the machine.

Please help to advise what our next step is as it’s a new machine and we would like hassle free washing.

Thanks and regards, Sothea

Yes you can do a short rinse / spin cycle as an option to change your spin speed. Not sure if it allows only a spin option. Not something i have had to try yet

Washing machine works ok but doesn’t take all the detergent, left with big hard clumps of powder and have to pour water in the drawer to get it to go in, also the fabric softener compartment doesn’t empty.. I use white vinegar it’s still in there from four washes ago. Only had it for less than a month and it’s annoying for the price paid. Is there something wrong with it?

Hi Robbie S, thanks for your question. This doesn't sound like normal operation, we'd recommend that you clean out the tray and check to see that the blue insert for liquid detergent is pushed up and away when using powder. If you have any future queries, please feel free to call us on 1300 369 744.

The washer itself is operating fine but the water just drips slowly into the detergent drawer so I have to tip in water from a bottle to get it to go into the machine otherwise it just sits there. is it water pressure or is there a filter blocked somewhere? The drawer itself is completely clean

I just fixed it.. cleaned the filter near the tap with a toothbrush.. all good now.. I do love the washing machine by the way

Can I spin-dry my hand-washed and rinsed woollens without having to rinse them again, please?
The instructions indicate that I should, but are not clear enough for me to follow.
Page 30, Rinse / Spin, says "The Rinse Plus button is set by default for this programme. If you require a spin cycle only, press the button to deactivate the function." The settings shown are for Rinse, Spin and Easy Iron.
Which 'button' do I press to deactivate the rinse part of the cycle? E Liz.

Sounds like the machine hasn’t been levelled properly. Adjust the legs so the machine is level front to back and side to side. The instruction book says how to do it. Hope this helps.

Sounds like it hasn't been levelled correctly. We don't have smooth tiles in our laundry so it took a bit of fiddling to get the balance right but once level it has been awesome
has not moved a millimetre.
