I have a Bosch washing machine WAW28460AU The tap symbol and a beeping sound come on during a cycle despite having flushed and cleaned the filter. The tap is on fully and the supply hose is not kinked or trapped. The water pressure is normal. The machine is functioning normally. Do you have any suggestions to fix the problem?

Please select rinse/spin cycle and press the rinse plus button to deactivate rinse plus leaving only spin.
Note the rinse plus is set by default for this program therefore you will need to deactivate rinse plus.

Thank you. I have another question. Being new to front loaders my Bosch has a strong smell coming off the rubber. After each wash I wipe the rubber and drum dry and leave the door open. I also remove the detergent drawer and wipe that dry. However, the smell remains. Is this normal for this machine to retain this rubber smell? It seems doing laundry with my Maytag top loader of 17 years was certainly easier.

You can select cottons plus pre-wash or Easy care plus pre-wash,

Washing machine new and first wash, noticed drum sticks slightly when rotated by hand, and it wobbles slightly when rotating. It wobbles on spin but still seems to spin ok but i think this new unit i purchased from the goodguys is repaired as the rubber seal had hand mks all over it

Hi i just bought this machine today and tried and i have a question on auto load sensing does it detects how many kgs of clothes you put in? And shows in the panel? Because mine it doesn’t change the figures for example on super quick option has 2kg figure showing and even i fill up with clothes the kg figure is not changing is that normal? Or defect? And one more that i observe is during the first fee seconds of spin cycle it makes a couple of “klug” sounds..thanks

The display panel does not display how much washing you have entered into your washing machine. Each cycle will display the maximum kgs per cycle. Therefore for Super Quick 15 cycle the maximum load is 2kg. Please refer to page 14 your manual under overview of programmes.
Regarding the "Klug" sound please double check you are not overloading your washing machine.

I've followed the cleaning instructions but nothing is being dispensed. I've seen similar issues with other users. Hi,
Bought this washing machine 6 months ago and it's worked flawlessly. However the foam detection symbol now appears shortly after the start of every wash. I've ran it twice at 90 degrees with no detergent and an empty drum. I've drastically reduced detergent amounts in subsequent washes. This issue probably has minimal effect on washing time or anything else but it is a fault and shouldn't be there. Is there anything else I could try? Thanks

Hello, I just bought a Bosch WAW28420AU and it says I can do a cotton + prewash load for heavily soiled clothes but I am unsure how to choose the prewash as it is not showing as an option. How do I do this? I have read the manual, not sure if I am missing something that is really easy. Thank you

You will see that working or turning clockwise with the "program select dial", that the next step after Cottons says +Prewash, that means that it is the setting above it (Cottons) plus a pre wash too, if that makes sense (I hope). We had the same thing working out how to get a pre wash out it.
The pre wash requires powder to be placed into the pre wash detergent slot too (Hope that bit you already worked out,m as it has two slots for detergent, and the centre slot is the softener (Or use white vinegar as we do these days, works great believe it or not, just two table spoons of white vinegar instead of the oily softener, and it also helps to keep the drum clean too). Having just purchased this model, my understanding is that to use the 15 mins cycle your load has to be less than 2 kilograms?

Why does the time vary for each time I choose the super quick wash? It starts at 18mins then the next wash goes to 24ish minutes then up from there on either the second or next wash??? ie. intermittent

This option is suitable for small items of lightly soiled laundry with the max load being around 2kg. If the the machine detects the load is heavier, this can increase the time of the programme. Hi, what does the error code E083 mean? The cycle starts, does it thing by starting to fill with water and then after a minute or two, it stops and beeps with E083 flashing on the digital screen.. Please help?

Our second Aquastop hose is leaking at the bottom of the Aquastop unit. I don't know how it would detect a major leak if it is incapable of detecting a leak. The first hose was replaced during the warranty period and now we're out of warranty the second hose has failed.
